Synopsis:
After long absences, both Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) and Clark Kent (Brandon Routh) have returned home, and are attempting to put their lives back together. Everyone is excited to see them again, except their former girlfriends. The less than warm home-coming from their lost loves forces both the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel into deadly spirals that threaten to destroy the two heroes, putting them on a collision course that can only end in a battle between the greatest heroes the world has ever known.

  1. I was surprisingly disappointed with this. I was looking forward to it, and saw the YouTube clip and was stunned by it. It looked great and I couldn’t wait for it. I did enjoy the first half, introduction to the characters however sadly, the only real action between Superman and Batman took place in the 5 minute youtube clip. That disappointed me and the overall finale didn’t make much sense at all. There was no real final battle. It was disappointing, and although I was a big fan of Year One and Dark Knight, this is probably the worst PID has done yet. Maybe this should be taken back into editing to add a bit more meat onto it.

  2. I have to agree with the above comment, I really didn’t have a clue what it was about. But the editing was seamless and very well made.

  3. I fear I must agree; not only did it not cohere into a satisfying experience, BB’s natural color tone jarred awfully with SR’s somber, muted and painterly one. Unlike in the youtube clip, the shots were immediately distinguishable. A fun idea, but it just doesn’t work.

  4. it started as an interesting idea, but as above posters mentioned it did not live up to the expectations

    while the movie was nice to look at the color palette would have needed some tweaking and overall the story fell very flat and unfocused
