  1. I really enjoyed the movie, except one thing. In the scene where “Sarah deciding to destroy Cyberdyne & Reese’s breakdown” the sound is not well synchronized with the picture. This should be fixed. Everything else, including DVD cover, is great!

  2. It is a shame that there isn`t a single disk or a divx version of this.

  3. I must say that ADM’s version rocked. I was very happy to finally see Kyle Reese react to the fact that he was in a world without war. This is the version I will show to my friends!

  5. This is fantastic. One of my favourite things about this film is the relationship between Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor, and this opens that up nicely.

  6. A really nice edit. The deleted scenes were integrated pretty well. Video quality throughout and of the deleted scenes was impeccable. A few of the deleted scenes had slightly higher audio than the rest of the mix, but it was a minor difference. From a storytelling perspective, this is one extended edition that really makes sense. Two of the scenes seemed crucial to the story for me. The relationship between Kyle and Sarah now actually works really well, and the Cyberdine discovery of the chip at the end was marvelous. I highly recommend this watch for any Terminator fan, and I really can give this edit no less than 5 stars. Thanks ADM.

  9. very good very – enjoyed the hell out of it.

After seeing coming storm i decided to revisted t1 and t2 in order to get into terminator salvation (even though i am already hyped) and once again I thank fanedit.org for providing such good material. I only have the heavily cut single disk version of T1 at home – meaning even shorter than the theatrical version not even a second disk with the deleted scenes so I started looking for a version of T1 – just the theatrical version, but none of 10 shops i was looking for had T1 – only the heavily cut edition I already possessed – so thank you ADM for giving me the opportunity to watch Cameron’s masterpiece with scenes that really add to the story (especially the new kyle scenes, like the tickling or Kyle’s breakdown and of course cyberdyne) sometimes I could hear that some parts were inserted because the audio was different, but this didn’t take away from my enjoyment.

The only glitch that irritated me was the abrupt audio cut after sarah is rescued when we jump to cyberdyne systems, it was a bit rough

but overall 11 out of 10 (1 for sheer gratitude of being able to watch an uncut version of T1 :D )

  10. I’ve seen all these deleted scenes before, but it’s a real treat to get them integrated into the rest of the film where they belong. Excellent work!

  11. This is the way T1 should have been. I found no lack of video or audio quality throughout the film, even during the deleted scenes that were reintegrated. The end discovery of Cyberdyne was great! This should be the version everyone should watch.

  13. I am an extended edition buff and have a big collection of original ones and all the fanedits from here.
Many extended editions do not add anything to the movie, just add more useless scenes. I will rate the ones here.
Rating criteria: image quality, sound quality, 3x improvement, overall.
    Image Quality: 10 of 10
    Sound Quality: 10 of 10
    Improvement: 9 of 10
    Overall: 9 of 10

  14. One of the, if not THE, best extended fan edits I’ve downloaded from here. Terminator should’ve been released like this from the beginning.

    10/10

  15. I just finished watching this edit, and I must say that I am very impressed :)

As another reviewer said above, the scenes that were added were more than just useless footage in there for the sake of being there…they REALLY added to the movie.

The slightly lower quality of the added scenes was evident, as they never quite got the same post-production treatment that the final release got, but it doesn’t (by ANY means) take away from this edit. This is NO fault of the editor’s, and there isn’t as drastic a difference between the original scenes and the added scenes as it sounds, so don’t even take this into account into your decision to download this edit. You will NOT be disappointed.

ADM, you have done a GREAT job adding these scenes and putting this edition together. They slowed the movie down to just the right pace for me (I’m not a big fan of the non-stop explosion and guns type of movie) and the story and the characters are now much more coherent as a whole…the show seemed incomplete to me from the first time I watched it, but this has been deftly rectified!

I know the phrase is said a lot on this site, but this IS the quintessential edit of this movie. You have done a great job :)

    An unquestionable 10/10 rating!
