The warriors: TV composite
by TranzorWhat is it about? Director Walter Hill has publicly stated that he hates the television footage. In fact none of the TV footage was even placed as an extra on the newer dir’s cut dvd edition. My goal was to restore every bit of extra footage that appears in the television version back into the superior first edition (not that BS dirs cut) of the film. I placed the extra footage in the film exactly to where it was in the TV version. No rearranging of scenes of any kind (except for the bathroom scene which was a different edit on the TV version).

Very good edit! Presentation was nicely put together and considering the TV version is very hard to get hold of these days, this one is a gem that everyone should have in their collection!
well done Tranzor!!!

DARK JEDI WROTE:
tranzor you are the man!
thank you very very much for this edit,it totally rocked!!
very cool, and the scenes yes had a quality difference(but not that bad, definitely very viewable),but who the hell cares, you added them in flawlesslly, and they were really neat seeing,I have not seen these scenes ever, this was my first time, and it was a real treat, and the sound was good too,no pops crackles nada!
man this is now my viewing choice to watch this film,I actually liked the extra scenes difference,it was kind of like ADM’s Dune workprint,it let you know when something was “new”
thanks again, you did one helluva job, damn cool!
definitely an A++ from me,total enjoyment on this end.

wow. just go ahead and throw out your director’s cut disc. what an abortion that one is… this adds quite a bit of value to the original version and i’m not sure why you would ever opt for watching that instead of tranzors composite. the additional scenes are of lesser quality, but since when did that trump a movie without plot holes? awesome. thank you! 5/5

I am an extended edition buff and have a big collection of original ones and all the fanedits from here.
Many extended editions do not add anything to the movie, just add more useless scenes. I will rate the ones here.
Rating criteria: image quality, sound quality, 3x improvement, overall.
Image Quality: 8 of 10
Sound Quality: 7 of 10
Improvement: 8 of 10
Overall: 8 of 10

I’m not commenting on picture quality since we all know the TV footage is rough. I’m commenting on how well the edit was done. I’ve just started checking out fan edits recently and this is one of the first ones I’ve seen and I thought it was great and it’s nice to finally see this footage. If the studios won’t do it, it’s nice to see that we have some talented people up for the job. Great work Tranzor!10/10

My First encounter with a fanedit. The Warriors has been my favourite movie since I first encoutered it as a 11 year old in 1981. I like many was disappointed in the directors cut (although the documentary’s were excellent) yearning to see the legendary cut scenes integrated into the main film. Its a big thank you to Tranzor for producing a great piece of work for all true Warrior fans to enjoy. The edit is first rate, its a shame there isn’t any first rate quality footage of the missing scenes but overall I’m delighted with whats been produced.. Thank you and keep up the great work , the fact your prepared to share your talents is greatly appreciated..

Thank you for taking the time to create this, and create it well. This without a doubt is one of my top 5 favorite faneidts of all time. It’s as clean as the source materials can allow, and it’s now my definitive version when I get that uncontrollable need to watch the film.
Highly recommended.
