This fanedit kicks butt! Seamlessly worked, and now includes extra (and hilarious) comedy lines, plus a number of scenes that make this even funner to watch! I was really hoping to watch this version, and had to wait a week (it was on order). After watching this (on a silly japanese tv, of course) while enjoying a great dried seahorse shake, I will watch it again and again until I am fully engorged! Thanks a bunch for making a great movie even better!

Big Trouble In Little China: Fully Engorged Edition – Work Print
I am a fan of John Carpenter. ‘The Thing’ (1982) is probably his greatest achievement but other movies such as ‘Escape from New York’ (1981) and ‘Big Trouble In Little China’ (1986) stand above the usual Hollywood fair because they are constantly inventive, imaginative and different.
‘Big Trouble In Little China’ is a very amusing film and I remember that I enjoyed it hugely when I was younger. I really enjoyed Kirt Russell’s performance as an inept and bumbling hero. His one-liners are priceless and take a stab at some of the more earnest action movies of the time. He really holds the movie together because of his conviction and charisma. He does not play his part for laughs, as Kim Cattrall is slightly guilty of.
This Work Print FanEdit ‘Big Trouble: Fully Engorged Edition’ is a real treat if you are a fan of the original. This FanEdit Work Print adds 95% of the deleted scenes back into the movie and it is very entertaining. The FanEditor has procured a wide source of deleted material and this should be commended but that also means that the quality can vary quite significantly. Sometimes there is a difference between aspect ratios and so certain shots appear stretched or squeezed and at other moments the image quality drops to a barely passable standard, yet with a project like this, quality fluctuations are inevitable. I am not sure that any of these deleted scenes particularly benefits the narrative as a whole and in my own opinion it is easy to see why they were cut.
A few restored scenes have the raw miked dialogue track without the benefit of post-production audio. So there is no ambient sound, audio effects or in some cases, score. This seems to suggest that these scenes where cut very early on in the editing process. n0mArch, the FanEditor responsible for this FanEdit has tried hard to add some seamlessness by adding score and other audio elements to the restored sequences.
n0mArch has put a lot of love into this edit and it shows. For all it minor faults, this is still a very entertaining and enjoyable FanEdit Work Print. You get the constant feeling that you are watching something special, made by a Fan for Fans, so in that regard this is a worthy and curious FanEdit.

I am an extended edition buff and have a big collection of original ones and all the fanedits from here.
Many extended editions do not add anything to the movie, just add more useless scenes. I will rate the ones here.
Rating criteria: image quality, sound quality, 3x improvement, overall.
Image Quality: 8 of 10
Sound Quality: 7 of 10
Improvement: 10 of 10
Overall: 9 of 10

@Rock Savage
there are NO ASPECT RATIO Issues with this edit, all deleted scenes were converted to 16×9 to fit the main feature. i checked each of this individually and they are all correct. I repeat NO scenes are stretched, squeezed or or a different AR to the main movie.
other than that thanks for your comments.

I’ve always found this movie amusing, and some of the villains are quite cool (huge inspirations for years, especially with things like Mortal Kombat), and this edit is quite fun. It’s a shame that the deleted stuff isn’t of higher quality in the first place, but that’s just the way it is, and it’s nice to have everything together. It shows a lot of work was done in stitchng everything together and making alterations where necessary. (AR convertions and such, as mentioned in the previous post) Well done. I’ll give it 8/10.
