Conceptual improvements/advancements of edit over original:
Kill Bill 1 was outlandishly violent and bloody. Kill Bill 2 in comparison
was slow moving but much more effective. Since it was originally one movie,
my attempt was to create a trimmer, meaner, faster, hard boiled version with
no happy Hollywood ending. It’s also in chronological order.

Aztek463 says”THE VIDEO:
Video quality overall was good. The film appears to be sourced from the Region 2 discs (I’ll assume it was a Japanese master, as some of the HOBL shots were in color, you’ll see which ones I mean when you watch it). There were, however, a few problems with the picture: firstly, there is quite a bit of pixelization in some scenes (let it be known that I do not have a widescreen, flatscreen, or HD TV in my house. Just a standard 4:3). This mostly occurs during scenes of heavy action and camera movement (yeah, BvE was effected). It was also prominent during the final scenes with Bill. Also, scene that take place at night, mostly at Budd’s trailer and the graveyard, appear to have been brightened. I do believe that the garden fight may have been brightened a bit, but I didn’t notice it too much. I also noticed, and this may just be my eyes being that, that the video looked a little washed out at times. Maybe this was because of altered brightness, maybe it was intentional. Since I don’t know, I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt.
4/5
THE AUDIO:
Audio editing was quite good. Several voice-overs have been moved. One of my favorites had to be Reverend Harmony’s voice outside of the chapel and then transitioning was very good. New music was added, also: during the scene when Elle is entering the hospital, a more sinister tune is played over her rendition of Twisted Nerve is played. You can still hear her whistling, but I thought it had a very good effect. The best audio edits, by far, were the removal of music in some scenes. hospital: the music from the snow garden fight with O-hospital, and Motorcycle Circus removed from the scenes of Bea driving to Bill’s hacienda. Instead, About Her is cued in, and leads into a musical montage before Bea finally descends into Bill’s living room for their final confrontation *hospital* I mean talk.
Now, there were some audio problems, as well. The audio goes of sync while Bea is wheeling through the parking garage at the hospital. It’s short, but if you’re paying attention, it’ll drive you bonkers. Also, he did some playing around with From Man to Man during the House of Blue Leaves Sequence. I know what he was aiming for, you will too, but it just didn’t work right, I’m sorry to say. “

ron2112 says “KBX is a whole different beast. The editor has drastically cut the running time of the two films to 150 minutes (that’s almost 100 minutes cut). He has also arranged the scenes in chronological order, to the degree possible (the Pai Mei chapter is still presented as a flashback after the Bride is buried). To one who loves the original films, this may seem like blasphemy, but let me come to the editor’s defense. First off, Jorge never intended this edit to be shared among hundreds or thousands of people on the Internet. It was just something he did as an experiment, and Jorge has stated emphatically that this edit is not intended to improve upon the original in any way. The only intent was to offer a different view of the film, and that it does well. I don’t know that I could have made some of the cutting decisions he did. For example, the battle with the Crazy 88 is eliminated — the Bride enters the House of Blue Leaves, kills the first batch of henchmen, and then it’s on to O-Ren. Another major cut, one that took some balls, frankly: B.B. is not alive in this version. I have to imagine that took some doing, as all her scenes at Bill’s villa had to be removed, as did the ending of the film. The edit works as an intriguing experiment, which is all it sets out to do, but I could never recommend it over the original or KB:TWBA. Video quality is decent, entirely watchable.
In summary, if you love Kill Bill, I think you will really enjoy KB:TWBA. The film works very well as one piece, and stands up admirably to the original. As for KBX, it’s worth seeing once as a novelty, but I doubt I’ll be coming back to that one too often. “

boon23 says “KILL BILL X is a most of all chronological re-edit of Kill Bill 1 and Kill Bill 2, which is also shortened a lot to have a more decent watching length.
WARNING: THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!!!!
What was done? Events were ordered, so the movie starts with the wedding, continues with Beatrix waking up and then finishes with her finishing her enimies one by one in the true order. The faneditor had to cut a lot and to re-arrange a lot to get what he wanted. He made seveeral cuts for a new interpretation of scenes.
Did it work? Well, it worked kind of good, but not perfectly, some scenes felt too long (The Japan part – althoughit was heavily cut) while others felt too short (the wedding massacre). Sometimes it seems so much was cut out that scenes were not making much sense, or parts were missing: when Buck falls down he is completely knocked out, but he ONLY got his heel slashed. When Oren gets hurt, it isn’t shown. You see her struggling, but the scene is missing (and I missed it). The crazy 88 are mentioned by Bill, but they are compeltely removed from the movie. beatrix battles only the bodyguards and then Oren.
This is an interesting fanedit still, because it feels very different to the original movie. The addition of the Pai Mai scene is nicely done and very entertaining. I had difficulties when the faneditor made Beatrix kill the daughter of Vernita Green, but it made compelte sense in the end, because Beatrix’s daughter was also dead. Unfortunately the finale with Bill without Beatrix’s daughter felt stretched and had a wrong feeling to it, because Beatrix was way too nice to him.
What worked really well were the specail ideas of the faneditor, he did a lot to improve scenes and make them work to his intentions. The editing itself was very well done, pitcurewise and soundwise.
Conclusion: This is a very special edit. It has great moments and is definetly worth to be watched, because of nice ideas and a different feeling for lots of scenes that worked well. Still the originals are IMHO way better.
The Extras: no extras, except for a fun trailer, which is very nice to watch.
Video editing quality: Great. I didn’t find flaws or bad transitions. The faneditor chose cuts where he felt them necesary and they were all fulyl integrated into the movie.
Audio editing quality: Close to perfect. the Pai Mai scene was dificult there, but he worked kind of well around it.
ratings:
movie rating: 3 of 5
video quality (compared to the original): 5 of 5
audio quality (compared to the original): 5 of 5
editing: 5 of 5
overall rating: 4 of 5 FE stars.”

It would’ve been a nice edit to have but the video quality is just terrible. I hope to see an updated version because I love chrono edits in general.

Chronological = sucks.
Trimmed = too much.
Meaner = yes, but also more stupid.
Faster = no, just shorter.
Hard boiled version = you wish.
Sorry, but this one did not at all convince me.
