Just want to comment on azzrael review.
Not bashing... but you repeat yourself. Make your point and move on.

Everyone knows T3 was a bad movie and there isn't much you can do besides starting over from scratch (new script, new actors, new production team even).

the Hope Edition was the first Fan edit I came across, and I agree that this person did a fantastic job with the materials available.

Thanks!

Equally good to "Coming Storm", yet a different take. I like it a lot. Thank you, T-Hope from one Terminator fan to the other.

This is my favourite edit of T3. I was particularly taken by the intro, Johns conversation with Kate in the back of the van, and the added scene talking about Cyberdyne. Great DVD setup, and I really, really like the running subtitle track explaining the edits! Great idea to move some of the footage from the original opening, to after the credits, setting up the real battles for a Terminator 4! This and Uncanny Antmans's edits have a lot of similarities, but I think Uncanny Antman was a little harsh on some of the one liners. I think T-Hope left in just enough references to T2. We can all do with a little cheese every now and then! T-Hopes editing is very good, but there were a couple of rare jumps, compared to Uncanny Antmans edit which is technically flawless. I much prefer T-Hopes narrative and editing decisions! Thanks T-Hope for the great job!! DVD also has some nice alternate scenes as a special feature.

I really liked this version, it gives the film a different feeling than from the dvd cut, and is more tight in places due to that. I enjoyed T3 (one of the few, i know) And this made it into a generalyl better movie.

ok sooooo little review of this fanedit.

first the technical stuff:
it's impecable. i saw no flaws , heard no flaws.

very very good job on that part , you toke some risks they paid of , major kuddos for that.

second the artistic stuff:
hummm
the idea is good. the objective you set out to do is a most wanted from the T1 T2 fans.
I think you have obtain your objective with the various edits you did.

unfotunately , T1 and (but less) T2 are works of art.
With the raw materials provided with T3 plus extras , it is just does not seem possible to correct all the decisions that were made by the production team of T3.
you have succefully removed the most obvious ones , but the movie in itself still lacks the "whatever" that made T1 especialy scary , and T2 the good movie it is.

now , understand:
I admire your work, it is flaw less , it is bald , and it is very well executed.

unfortunately , T3 is such a bad movie that nothing , not even the fantastic job you did can save this movie.

there is T1 and T2 . two masterpieces .

and the there's T3 , a bad movie from a production standpoint.
I think your excellent job on this raw material shows just one thing :
Decisions were made at the pre production level of that movie that cannot be unmade in the fanediting process.

I was full of hope while downloading this fanedit. I thought i were gonna get that scary felling I had bach in 1984 , when i came back from the movie theater , or that thrill I had in 1991 , but I didn't.

This fanedit is better than the original theatrical release. but it's still not a good movie.

That's mainly due to the fact that T3 is a from point production standpoint the starting point for the TVserie and the sequels coming. it is not a continuity from T1 and T2.

note to you faneditor:
you did achieve your goal. it's just that T3 is not at all a good movie , to say the least.
I encourage you to keep doing fanediting , you have shown with T3 that you have the knowledge and the now-how for this art form that is fan editing. I am looking forward to some other stuff from you !
