  1. my only complaint here is that that damn performance is SO HORRIBLE! OMG! are they serious?

other than that this is a great extended edition… although i wish you used some quality control here!!!

    4/5

  2. Joe is probably right that this could benefit from a true fan edit touch, but as an extended edition this one delivers!

The Hoggy Hoggy Hogwarts song was priceless, and the Snape/Karkaroff scene is good, making me wonder why it was left out in the first place!
“Do the Hippogriff” on the other hand has no place in the movie. It’s really fun extra material, but that’s where it should have stayed.

Thank you for putting this together.

  3. I am an extended edition buff and have a big collection of original ones and all the fanedits from here.
Many extended editions do not add anything to the movie, just add more useless scenes. I will rate the ones here.
Rating criteria: image quality, sound quality, 3x improvement, overall.
    Image Quality: 10 of 10
    Sound Quality: 9 of 10
    Improvement: 4 of 10
    Overall: 6 of 10

  4. Have to agree with the others: “Do the hippogriff” is probably the worst scene in all Harry Potter, I’m just so glad they didn’t put it into the main moive because if I had seen that movie in the cinema i would have been done with harry potter.
the other scenes however are a nice addition

I too would be in favor of a true fanedit that cuts out the hippogriff song and maybe the “we’ll probably never have a normal year” – happy go lucky dialog at the end

    7/10
