Additional comment: Needing a break from my other two projects that I should be working on and doing a nice and easy standard extended edition of Superbad. I love this movie a lot and want to add in some great extra scenes and some alternate takes from the 2-disc special edition. Integrating the scenes into the film takes a few filtering processes to match the footage to the kinda faux 70s look they had going, and building the audio from the stereo source of the supplemental materials to 5.1 surround, basically building back channels and such.

  1. Just watched, it is awesome but not completed. I asked in my previous comment if the “It’s a nice looking dick” line was included from the R-Rated trailer and it is not. I feel like that line is one of the funniest in the whole film and it was cut out for some reason, I would love to see it added back in for full extended edition glory.

  2. I will definately check this out, but do have two things just from seeing the content listed.

    1) I agree the “it’s a nice looking dick” should have been included if possible.

    2) I wouldn’t have changed the Evan’s performance scene…I do understand you wanted to add a bucnh of extra stuff, but I find that the one in the film, with singing, is far funnier than the break dancing scene. However, that is a small thing and it doesn’t bother me.

  3. Hilarious. Great job on reincorporating the scenes. They are seamless. I give this DVD a 4.5 out of 5. Video and audio were perfect, easy 5 out of 5 for both. The menus needed some work. There was no highlight for me on the chapter selection page, and I felt that all the chapters as text on one page was kind of messy. Other than that it was a fantastic edit. thanks so much!!!

  7. i’m pretty sure this is my favorite extended edition. great job on this. the deleted scenes are hilarious and just add to the ridiculousness that ensues.

    the scene trying to steal his mom’s alcohol is priceless!!!!

    everything is a 5/5 for me.

  8. I am an extended edition buff and have a big collection of original ones and all the fanedits from here.
    Many extended editions do not add anything to the movie, just add more useless scenes. I will rate the ones here.
    Rating criteria: image quality, sound quality, 3x improvement, overall.
    Image Quality: 8 of 10
    Sound Quality: 8 of 10
    Improvement: 6 of 10
    Overall: 7 of 10
