Conceptual improvements/advancements of edit over original:
**************************INTRODUCTION***********************************
Pulp Fiction is a perfect movie, it cannot be improved. So what we did is just to give you a different view on the main storyliens by telling them chronological and split to two movies instead of one episodic movie. Now you get the full story of Vincent Vega (in which he won’t die) and the full story of Butch Coolidge (in which Vincent will die). A few scenes had to go for context reasons.
***************************THE EDIT**************************************
Ringo and Yolanda’s beginning had to go, because the scene was overlapping with Jules and Vincent entering the coffee shop. Also gone is Vincent and Marvin entering the boxing arena. Some other scenes had to be shortened or just matched to contents.
What you now get is two complete stories, all chronological and both just about one day in the life of the main characters. It works very well and the interesting thing about this edit is that it changes the atmosphere for several of the so well known scenes.
We did not improve the movie a single bit, but we gave you, the audience, the chance to decide for a story to watch.
The idea for this came from the director’s cut edition of SIN CITY.
Time needed for the edition
planning: 2 weeks
editing: 3 days
sound editing: 2 days
trailer: not yet made
DVD layout and features: 2 days

Question : How do you make a fanedit of an absolute Master Piece ?
Answer : you don’t
Yet ..
We all saw this movie. It’s fantastc pace . It’s soundtrack . It’s acting and of course it storieS.
We were all told theses stories in a twisted chronological order, with the choices that were made By Master Tarentino.
What CBB group propose here is , as the description tells us , two stories , Focusing on two of the main characters.
The outcome is two Movies. Each with their own paces, their own atmosphere.
From the editinig point of vue , the work was relatively not creative, in the sense that all CBB group did is put the stories back in chronological order. This does not change the stories.
None the less, the watching experience of this fanedit leads you into a different atmospere thant the original cut. Because the feeling you get from it is different , I recon it makes the original cut shine, making the movie making craft of the author an exemple to all stroytellers outhere.
In my opinion Pulp Fiction is a must have in any collection. Ergo this fanedit is also.
technical review:
although fited to a single sided DVD , the picture quality is very good.
the menus a simple and effective.
(PS : i *need* the musical reference to the main menu , what is that ?)
