Conceptual improvements/advancements of edit over original:
I first got the Special Edition soundtrack in January of 2006, I had the original but the 06′ edition featured a second disc with demo tracks as well as a few cover songs by artists such as Marilyn Manson, Fallout Boy and Fiona Apple. I thought it would be neat to sync the cover songs up with the DVD. This is the result and as with the Lateralus & Ænima discs this DVD also features a Stereo Linear PCM audio track preserving the uncompressed audio fidelity of the
original CD.

I’ve got a problem. I downloaded via rapidshare, and was able to join the files using 7zip, but when the resulting zip archive is corrupt.
The errors i get are:

What should i do?

check if all files except the last one are the same size. If not, download the ones that have a different size again.

i solved the problem awhile ago. I had missed part 13 downloading via rapidshare. What I don’t understand is why 7zip joined the split archive without any warning or indication that I was missing part 13.
By the way, it has been over a month since I posted because Fanedit was not showing my comments for a week after I posted, so I just gave up.

Now that the Nightmare Revisited album is out, will you be incorperating that soundtrack to the film?

I watched this the other night, and overall it was a nice watch. The DVD is great – menus are really nice, The video, as with all of Angrysvn’s stuff is wonderful, Job well done there. Now to specifically comment on the replacement of the special edition songs. The Marilyn Manson song was great. Timing was perfect and it fit right in. I didn’t get the same experience from Fall Out Boy or Fiona Apple. Fall Out Boy was a rather abrupt change. It would have been good to make the transition a little smoother. And the timing for Fiona was rather off. I really think that individual shots should have been edited to better match the pacing of Fiona’s vocals. Overall though, nice DVD, and a fun watch.
