Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic
by JasonNThis fanedit combines the best aspects from other AofC fanedits along with many the faneditor’s own concepts/edits to create a definitive version of “Attack of the Clones”.

Original Runtime: 142 minutes (2 hours, 22 minutes)
New Runtime: 90 minutes (1 hours, 30 minutes)

Major Cuts/Edits/Changes
- 01. Added a new title crawl (developed from an After Effects “Star Wars title crawl” sequence originally created by Taolar)
- 02. Major cuts/edits to the Anakin, Padme, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Jango, Shmi, and Count Dooku characters
- 03. Tried to edit the Obi-Wan/Anakin relationship to be more akin to a elder brother or friend relationship (much less of this constant “my young padawan” or “yes Master” crap)
- 04. Jar-Jar only speaks twice in the film
- 05. Re-edited the “Zam Chase” and “Hiding in Alien Bar” sequences
- 06. Edited Zam’s final lines to include subtitles about the Kamino System (eliminating the “toxic dart” subplot)
- 07. Removed the “Dax’s Diner” sequence
- 08. Removed the scene of Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Mace Windu walking in the Jedi Temple
- 09. Removed the scene of Obi-Wan, Yoda, and the younglings training
- 10. Added the deleted scene of Obi-Wan talking with Mace Windu before leaving for Kamino back to the film
- 11. Tried to refined and streamlined the Anakin/Padme relationship into an actual romance
- 12. Added the deleted scene of Anakin meeting Padme’s Family back into the film
- 13. Boba Fett is not a clone of his father, Jango Fett
- 14. Jango Fett’s helmet now has a voice modulator
- 15. Re-edited Obi-Wan’s space fight with Jango in the asteroids
- 16. Completely removed the “Shmi Skywalker captured by Sandpeople/Anakin turns to the Dark Side” subplot – Anakin now arrives on Tatooine to find his mother already dead and buried
- 17. Removed Jar-Jar’s speech to the Senate
- 18. Completely removed the appearance of C-3PO and R2-D2 in the “Droid Factory” and “Coliseum” battle sequences
- 19. Added the deleted scene of Padme facing Count Dooku back into the film
- 20. Re-edited the fight sequences of the “Droid Factory”, “Colosseum”, and “Geonosis Battle” scenes
- 21. Count Dooku is no longer “Darth Tyranous” and has absolutely NO connection to the Sith – he is still a Jedi (abit a rebel Jedi) in my Prequel fanedits
- 22. Re-edited the duels between Obi-Wan/Anakin and Count Dooku
- 23. Dooku’s lightsaber has been rotoscoped purple instead of “Sith red”
- 24. YODA NEVER FIGHTS COUNT DOOKU
- 25. Added “Faneditor’s credit” to the end credits

This is the second edit I have watched of Attack of the clones, and this works very well, like what you did with the dooku light saber, no idea how you changed the colour? but it worked great. Wasn’t sure about removing the yoda fight, but never noticed any change at all. My wife didn’t like the yoda scene anyway, her description was a demented frog. This is a great alternative version of attack of the clones, and would highly recommend it. 9/10 for video and audio.

A very impressive edit from start to finish. Technically brilliant, with no complaints on that front whatsoever. Now, having said that, my only quibbles involved retaining a little too much of Anakin’s “whining” and the decision to excise his mother’s death and his subsequent attack on the Sand People simply do not work. These events are pivotal to Anakin taking his first step toward the Dark Side, no matter how badly they were written.

Amazing edits, all three of them are great. Keep it up.

Good Edit…
Only thing i didn’t like is there is no Sand Storm kill after anakin gets mad. this is his path to the darkside.
Other then that the edit is awesome!
My favorite edit of the three is got to be the Phantom Menace edit by Jasonn (attack of the Federation) i think it’s the best Phantom menace edit i saw/
