- The scenes where Elwood the dwarf is shouting like a retard are cut out.
- A scene with Elwood introducing himself has been added.
- Most of Jeremy Iron’s Over-the-top performance has been removed.
- The battle scenes have been altered. Better pacing and no bad
dialogue. - “Give those mages some payback” and “We gots to get paid” lines were cut.
- Elwood saves Snails scene added and altered.
- Snails still goofy, but not as much.
- The empress’ long-winded speeches about equality have been cut.
- Nobody says “never” before Damadar attempts to kill them.
- Wraith in scroll scene reincorporated.
- Thieve’s Guild leader Cylus’(sp?) line “Who the hell is he?” is cut.
- Snails hitting on the Elf (Nora?) while she’s tracking has been cut.
- More of the aftermath of Snails’ demise with the elves offering help Nora and the crew.
- A scene with Ridley trying to retrieve the Rod of Savrille(sp?) as Damadar arrives at the dungeon.
- “No!! I won’t become YYYYYooouu!!” gone.
- “Oh, look. I’ve cut (***). What a shame.” have been removed.
- Alternate ending added. Original ending removed.

I recut the film to be a little less goofy, but to be honest, there’s just too much crap to save the movie.
Batman & Robin anyone? I gave it my best shot and I’m pleased with the final product. Maybe somebody can do a 2nd Edition in the future because their is a scene where Ridley dreams about a dragon being born. I left it out because I’m no expert at CGI. What bothered me most about the original
cut was the fact that Elwood was following Ridley and crew for no reason. Without even introducing himself. I added the sewer scene because it gave Elwood more background; not that there was much to begin with. Another thing that bothered me was that everyone in the film is constantly talking about “equality” between commoners and Mages, especially the empress. It’s still there but it’s only hinted at. The empress isn’t babbling about “equality” in every scene she’s in. She’s hardly in the movie now. This cut’s focus is now on Profion trying to grab power and the empress trying to stop him without pushing her own agenda. And of course a couple of rogues caught in the middle of it.
