intention for releasing this Fanedit:
Although the original faneditor Roger Rmjet did not personally send in the info, his work was exceptional enough to not be missed by the fanedit community. A great idea and a fascinating way to pull it off. Infortunately the quality of the video is not the very best, yet it is watchable. Hopefully some day Roger Rmjet will release a high quality version of this great fanedit. At the very same day, this DVD aurhored by throwgncpr will be deleted.

Quite a unique take on the movie and possibly the first time an edit has gone in this direction. The constant replaying of the titles and such gets a wee bit old as you continue watching, but I totally understand the reason for it. All in all, a really fun edit. Recommended.

I found this edit to good fun, but more for the novelty approach than anything else.
Well edited and Roger Rmjet’s choices on where to end each “episode” worked well.
I agree with Ripplin, that the constant replaying of the titles got in the way; but that is the point of the edit: to present it like an old cinema serial.
There were a couple of points in the edit that the black and white didn’t seem to quite work out as well (since the original movie is obviously filmed in color). When a movie is filmed originally in B&W, a lot of thought has to go into placement of lighting, process timing etc to get the photography even throughout the movie. It didn’t distract, but sometimes the B&W edit seemed too distinct.
All-in-all, a fun and completely watchable edit. well worth the D/L.
