Interests: Music, film, politics.

My favorite quote: “I find no absolution In my rational point of view Maybe some things are instinctive But there’s one thing you could do You could try to understand me I could try to understand you” –Neil Peart, from Open Secrets

Top 25 favorite films are: 1) The Empire Strikes Back 2) Batman Begins 3) Star Wars 4) The Wizard of Oz 5) E.T. 6) The Shawshank Redemption 7) Superman: The Movie 8 ) Gandhi 9) Raiders of the Lost Ark 10) Lord of the Rings Extended Edition (I see this as one long movie) 11) Band of Brothers (ditto) 12) Hudson Hawk 13) Caddyshack 14) From Russia With Love 15) Gladiator 16) Terminator 17) T2 18) Alien 19) Aliens 20) Dances With Wolves Director’s Cut 21) From The Earth To The Moon 22) Apollo 13 23) Blade Runner 24) 2001: A Space Odyssey 25) Pulp Fiction

Dislikes: Social conservatives and Fiscal liberals. Give me a socially liberal fiscal conservative and I’ll give you somebody who can solve problems without waste.

Favorite director: This is a hard choice between the more accessible Steven Spielberg and the more artistic Ridley Scott. Both truly are master craftsmen. My eye is on Christopher Nolan as the next great director in the mold of these two. Awards:

Newspost: ADGITALMAN recieves the FE Faneditor’s Award

It was about time to honor the greatest of them all: ADigitalMan. He has been creating fanedits for the public since 2005 and is currently the one most respected faneditor of them all. If anyone has a heart for fanedits, there is no way to pass his awesome works, which have received great reviews and comments around the globe on uncounted websites. His official fanediting career began as it did for so many on originaltrilogy.com, the first ever forum to post about this new subcultural art. He became popular pretty soon, most of all for his fanedits of the Star Wars prequels, which are among the best, which have ever been created. ADM is famous for his editing quality. This guy simply produces no flaws, not in video editing, not in the audio transitions. His works are perfect, which makes him the idol for so many newcomers. His influence on the fanediting community is gigantic and although so many talk about the Phantom Editor as the one, who made fanedits popular, ADM is of no less importance. He has created more than 40 fanedits so far and he is not done yet. His most talked about fanedits are: The Star Wars prequel fanedits: A Vergence in the Force, Path To The Darkside, Revenge Of The Sith. Also very worthy to be mentioned are his Superman fanedits: Superman – Feed The Babies Extended Edition, Superman II The Hybrid Cut, Superman Redeemed and Superman Returns The ADM Cut. His personal favorite and an outstanding work of art is his Pearl Harbor fanedit: Pearl Harbor: Strength and Honor, in which he masterfully shows, how much can be gained from a crappy original by focussing on what is important and re-ordering an entire movie in a new way. Never before has this movie been so impressive. Still there is a lot more to discover in the ADM fanediting world and you will hardly ever be disappointed when choosing to watch an ADM fanedit. awarded Dec 2007

  2. Hey man, I left a comment on your Spider-Man 3 Edit, not sure if you saw.

Anyways, I’m looking to get into Fan Edits, but I’m sorta new to them. I’m by no means a stranger to video editing, however, I’m sort of in the dark for such large scale projects. Anyways, I was wondering if you had an email address I could reach you at, as it’d be an easier way to communicate. I’ve come to ask you, as I think you’re amazing at this stuff, and no offense to the other creators, but you’re my favorite fan editor out there. Basically I just wanted to talk about some hints, tips, pointers, etc. that you could help me with so I could get started. If not, no problem at all man. So anyway, I think email would be best.

    Take care,

  5. Hey man. A friend told me about this site. I am fascinated by the amount of fan edits out there. I am an editor by trade and over a dozen years ago, I worked on a less stupid Superman 3 cut on a linear system…VHS at that (that’s how old). I have no idea where that cut is today, but now I cut non-linear on Final Cut Pro for MAC, so I guess I could try again, but, hey, others have already done this as well. Who knew there where others like me trying to improve studio cuts. How could they get it so wrong. Anyway, I had to rave about your cover art. One of my new hobbies is to design DVD case art for shows I’ve taped or collected at conventions. You, sir, make amazing covers. I have to ask, where do you get that Superman “glass” logo from? I used a cut out version from a poster I downloaded, but you look as if you can create these type of graphics, as the word “redeemed” is in the same “glass” style. Any hints on this? I use Photoshop for all my covers. And lastly, where are people going to get these downloads now? I’d love to see some of yours and others. Keep ‘em coming.

  6. Adigitalman,

I’ve seen some fuzzy avi versions of your work on Blade Runner (2008 Fan Edit), but I’d sure like to see the real thing. I don’t do movie editing, but I can do stereoscopic 3D imaging, including lenticular. Perhaps we could trade some work? Of course, I actually own all versions of Blade Runner, going back to the first VHS release (which claims to be the theatrical version, but actually isn’t). Anyway, if there’s some way to contact you, lmk. Otherwise, I can post my gmail address and get spammed back to the stone age… doc3ddd
