Quick question:
what is the difference between ANHR SL and DL? More special features? I might be stupendously overlooking this somewhere, but I can’t seem to find the information anywhere. Can you please share it with me? Is it just to provide the film more space and less compression, or what exactly?

I have written something about your Fantastic work. My father designed the costumes for Star Wars and Empire so I really did grow up with the film. I hated what Lucas did with the Special Editions. What you have done means a lot. Below is my comment.

This is a Great Work and is closer to what should have been the Special Edition Star Wars.

One scene that should still be removed is the scene where Luke meets an old friend and says “I told you I’d make it some day”. This whole scene is poorly acted and scripted and that was the reason it was dropped from the Original. Why Luke would say such a stupid line just before going on a virtual suicide mission is an anathema. Also an officer questions Luke’s ability to fly a fighter seconds before departure! Silly!

Other than that this project is Brilliant!

George Lucas should be ashamed that a Fan-edit does what his own technicians could not do.
