How have you started making fanedits and why are you making them?
I am a professional editor and enjoy the challenge of seamlessly re-editing the video and audio of an existing work.
Is there a specific kind of fanedits you want to make?
I would only edit movies or programmes whose integrity, I feel, has been compromised by needless impediments to storyflow - such as gratuitous sex scenes, Producer-imposed ‘comic relief’ characters, sledgehammer exposition, blah, blah, blah.
Do you have a faneditor idol?
Nope.
Will you continue making fanedits?
Probably not …although I’d love to have a bash at de-DeCaprio-ising “Titanic” as his presence utterly ruins what would otherwise be a decent movie.
