What is it about? The faneditor: I left David Lynch’s name in the credits, hoping this would not seem arrogant, but instead a genuine tribute by a fan, in hopes that this more closely matches the Extended Edition he would have created, if he’d only been given the chance back when he cared about the film. Mr. Lynch, if you’re reading, we do love your film, and will continue to wish for your true extended cut to see the light of day.

What is it about? Although the picture was fully restored, it didn’t include the original mono soundtrack and actually removed some explicit language and changed the music in places. So the faneditor restored the mono soundtrack (with the extra swearing) and fixed the music and some missing dialogue at the end too.

What is it about? This fanedit preserves the extended Italian version and restore some of the extra shots from the shorter version with original English and Italian mono soundtracks. Also restores some missing music found in the Italian version. It’s the longest version of “C’era Una Volta Il West” you will probably ever get.

What is it about? This fanedit restores the Rome Premiere version of the film with original English and Italian mono soundtracks. For extended scenes the Italian soundtrack with subtitles was used, to avoid using the awful dubs done for the restored version.
