Can a movie with an incredible cast like this be a failure? Indeed it can, if is not about what it is supposed to be about. This fanedit gets rid of a bunch of Hannibal Lecter scenes to turn the focus back on Francis Dolarhyde and Will Graham. This edit trims the fat to tighten up the dialog and remove silly over-the-top moments that hurt the film. The most noticeable change is the complete removal of the Dick Thornberg reporter character from the film.
