The best PHANTOM MENACE fanedit: a special contest

For this April 2010 we will have a special contest instead of the usual one featuring the best fanedits of last month (last month’s entries will be in the next contest).
The Phantom Menace (Star Wars Episode One) is one of the most fanedited movies – and that is for a good reason: it was a major disappointment to millions of fans who wanted it to be something else, who grew up with the original trilogy and became fans of this awesome saga, when suddenly the first of the prequels revealed that more can mean truly less. The desire for a Star Wars prequel was gigantic, the movie could never hold up to the expectations (although in all fairness it has to be said that it is not as bad as many hardcore fans want to make us believe).

Since there are so many fanedits of this movie, everybody would of course like to know, which one is actually the best of them. Is it really The Phantom Edit by Phantom Editor, the first one, the one that made fanediting famous? Is it the latest one: ATTACK OF THE FEDERATION by JasonN, which takes the best ideas from all previous Episode 1 fanedits and also adds some new ones? There also 3 more famous and a lot talked about ones: Star Wars Episode I: A Vergence In The Force by ADigitalMan, Star Wars: Episode 1 — Balance Of the Force by Magnoliafan and Star Wars Episode 1: Rise Of The Sith by Slumberland. The choice is not easy. But it’s yours to make and will finally produce a result that will help people to make their decision, which one to download in the future.
