It’s time once again that we take a moment and honor a faneditor who shows great talent, pushes the boundaries of edits, films, and imagination, and continues to put out quality pieces. Mollo, like very few editors not only fits into all of those categories, but he has done it with remarkable speed. Joining FE within the last year, he has since provided the community with 7 fanedits, each incredibly unique, and he continues to suggest unique and visionary ideas.
Setting the stage with his first fanedit, Mollo presented Star Trek: Bugs, a unique combination of the original Star Trek television serious, and Starship Troopers. Find out what happens when Kirk takes on an army of insects. Seem like a strange combo? Take a look and see for yourself. This was an exceptional firstling. Keeping in the spirit of creating new experiences, Mollo is currently working on an edit of Event Horizon that incorporates special effects and footage from other films for a new horror experience. Killer Horizon is sure to thrill and scare you.
We could go on and on about each of Mollo’s fanedits, as they are truly unique and well crafted, but we will let you find out for yourself. One edit you must experience, however, is Romero’s Land of the Dead – The Unrated Fancut. This is turd-polishing at it’s utmost extreme. Zombies evolving? A community of intestine-eaters? A heirachical society of the undead? …give us a break. CRAP. Well, …no more!!! Mollo has done what most of us thought was not possible, and that is give us a great zombie movie from Land of the undead. If you are a Romero fan, you’ve gotta see this.
