I cannot recommend this edit highly enough. As I've gotten older (meaning my mid 30s haha) I have really grown to appreciate Deep Impact as a story. It brings a lot of genuine heart and emotion that Armageddon replaced with high-intensity space action and wacky characters. What CoolGuy209 has made here is nothing short of genius, and I genuinely got emotional more than once. Balancing the heart of Impact with the action of Armageddon creates a back and forth showing you not only what the fight for survival looks like but also what they're fighting for.

The technical editing is top notch, no weird cuts or audio issues at all, and the music between the movies was blended seamlessly, even though they each bring very different tones.

There were some very (very) small plot inconsistencies, literally too small to mention, and I only noticed them because I've seen each movie quite a few times. The only reason this movie gets a 9 for me is that I felt it was a bit long and there were some scenes that could have been chopped, largely from Armageddon. Two quick examples would be the "NASA psychology testing" sequence and the overly long "Harry pushing the button" sequence. I think for an edit so heavy on emotion, moments like these really stuck out. I think this edit could have done with maybe 10 more mins chopped, but honestly it's so good I didn't mind.

Overall, a really clever, well done edit, and one of those "I can't believe I didn't think of this before!" genius ideas. Way to go!
