Aquaman: Special Edition

Much approved story for Aquaman, definitely recommend anyone if you want a direct cohesive story to get through, this is for you.

"Aquaman Special Edition" delivers a fresh and refined take on the original film, offering a more engaging and cohesive experience. The poor soundtrack choices in theatrical/digital had me looking for fanedits that changed such aspect. This one in particular did some things I never knew I wanted: reducing kid Arthur's bad acting, trimming down exposition dumps and general Marvel-liness (I didn't mind it on my first watch, maybe I just got sick of funnies in superhero movies since the trash that was Love and Thunder). The edits were clean as well, it's been years since I last watched it and I didn't notice anything off. A perfect fan edit all in all!

Aquaman much like Wonderwoman was a movie that I didn't think needed that much editing much less 19 minutes. But after finishing I had to watch my bluray copy to see what all was changed, There were obvious things I noticed like parts of his childhood but I didn't know the extent of how far it went. The editing and moving of scenes is seamless and never left me missing out on anything, extra props for editing the soundtrack cause I am not fond of pitbull.

Now if you don't like this movie I doubt this edit will change your opinion some hate the cheesiness this is the movie with a drumming octopus, I love it for that reason cause it wasn't afraid to take risks and be more colorful and show the more outlandish side of Aquaman.
Not much more I can say other than this edit comes highly recommended and will probably be my go to edit from now on.

Aquaman: Special Edition is a good edit that makes the movie progress faster by removing some elements of the original movie and changing the order of events slightly. The transitions from the re ordering of events is seamless and makes viewing quality comparable to the original. You still get the same level of detail to the story narration; even with some of the original dialogue removed. If this version was shown to someone who had not seen the original one; I believe it would be well received by them.

I like the fact that Black Manta was tightened up some as a character. When I seen the theatrical release I was hooked on the Manta theme and still am today. The fight scene on the sub was shortened but this did not take away from the impact of the characters introduction. By changing this scene it delivered a more serious tone that Black Manta was skilled and formidable villain. With this portrayal I think it emphasizes on the original Black Manta theme from the film. It gives a more ominous feeling for the character itself and what he could do in the future.
