I always thought the deleted and extended scenes for Austin Powers were great and added to the humor/style of the film. ADM has done a sufficient job of adding them back in. At the time this was done, and given the source material, the resulting quality is great. Some of the transitions seemed a little off, but there was nothing overly obvious. I'd love to see this revisited using the Blu-ray as the source, but this DVD will work in the meantime.

Video quality is on par with retail DVD (which has not aged well). The deleted scenes were edited in with no issues.

I love this movie. The deleted scenes are quite hilarious really and I was happy to watch a funnier Austin Powers 1.

Austin Powers was one of my favourite movies to watch in my adolescence, one I could quote endlessly, that said I feel the deleted scenes don't add much to the overall film, it's nice to see them there, but I actually think these scenes could have done with an edit themselves...I'd have cut the final Number Two scene after he says "I bought the case" for example as it's a funnier line to end it on than Austin's counter-argument. I can actually see why they did cut that whole bit. Audio quality is fine and I didn't notice anything jarring. Overall, it doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it does give you a fresh excuse to watch a 90s cult classic once again.

This is a very simple edit, and with only about 4 minutes added, it doesn't add a whole lot. Fans of Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery will find ADigitalMan’s Shaggadelic Extended Edition will love this fanedit, while people who dislike the movie will probably not be swayed by this.

It looks and sound good, but nothing amazing. The deleted scenes are a slighty different resolution, although i don't think many people will notice. A recommendation to all fans.

Austin Powers is one of those movies that the more you watch it the more you enjoy it.

Now thanks to adigitalman the fun lasts I little longer with the four added minutes of this extended edition.

With these added scenes we see a funnier number 2 and get to know a little more abour the dead Henchmen private's life, which is, in my opininion, completely hilarious.
