To create a more comprehensive story of the creation, rise and fall Patrick Bateman by Bruce Wayne. Ducard trains Bruce in the ways of the ninja and offers him a place in the League of Shadows – a covert organization of vigilantes and assassins. Bruce rejects his offer and returns to Gotham City, now overrun with corruption and greed. He vows to take on an alternate persona to clean up the streets of Gotham. Editing Details:
I think I’ve tied up any loose ends or plot holes. Some aspects may require a leap of faith. If you have any questions, just remember that Bruce is crazy. Bat-shit crazy, so to speak. His actions aren’t always rational. He jumps between his different personalities as a result (or maybe as a cause) of his psychosis.
There are a few hard audio cuts in the American Psycho footage. These are in the original and I didn’t see anything wrong with having them in there.
Cuts and Additions:

-Removed Willem Dafoe from American Psycho
-Re-ordered/recut some scenes from American Psycho to make the body count higher
-Removed Batman from Batman Begins
-Removed Bruce returning home from school from Batman Begins
-Removed Joe Chill subplot from Batman Begins
-Rachael and her relationship with Bruce is (almost) completely removed
-Removed all but 2 short scenes from The Dark Knight
-Removed everything from the Machinist that dealt with Trevor’s job, co-workers, the accident and Ivan
-Added some clips from Christian Bale’s rant on the set of the new Terminator to illustrate Bruce/Patrick’s inner dialogue with himself to show his growing insanity.

I’m torn on this edit. I’ll get the obvious out of the way; old fanedit, bad tech ratings. Now the tricky part.

I knew this was going to be a goofy “what if” type story so I didn’t expect a coherent narrative that felt like a “real” movie. I enjoyed it a lot, the overall concept worked (to a degree) but the Batman angle felt totally out of place. The third act was nicely done. It would have been much more effective as a 30-40 minute short.

A/V Quality - 7
Editing - 7
Narrative - 6
Enjoyment - 8 (originals: American Psycho 10, Batman Begins 8, Machinist 9)

I went into this one wanting to love it, honestly. The idea is funny and creative. Unfortunately, the execution just didn’t work. There really is no coherent story here, which I know was a big task, but what resulted is essentially a collection of alternating scenes from “Batman Begins” and “American Psycho.” Each goes on so long you forget that you’re watching a special fanedit. A for effort, but F for final product.

the concept of combinining these two films is extremely funny but in practice its not that interesting. this is actually just like 80% american psycho normally with a few occasional clips from batman or the machinist. as a narrative it doesn't work and the story is not very cohesive. the title is the funniest part.

This is an interesting fan edit. I saw it on a list of Must See fan edits over five years ago... and I think the fan editing has come a long way since then. This is an outlandish idea to merge three wholly unrelated Christian Bale movies and somehow try to craft a cohesive and coherent story. In that regard, it works... But its just not as fun as I was hoping it would be.

I find myself agreeing with Neglify, the Batman story beats feel disconnected, and I think it would've played much better as a 30 minute short. The joke of the premise gets a little stale after a while, especially because there is such a stark difference between the American Psycho and Batman footage.

I have to give props to the creative use of the infamous Terminator Salvation rant audio for a single line. That was the kind of fun energy that I was hoping for throughout!

Lastly, the closing monologue of American Psycho playing over the ending of The Machinist actually worked remarkably well! I want to see an entire edit that merges just those two movies and ignores Batman entirely. There's something really promising there!

I think Neglify said it best when he said it would be better as a 30-40 minute short. The transitions between every scene is incredibly jarring and too noticeable to create a coherent narrative. There wasn't enough inter-cutting of the three films to create something more than just shorter versions of the original movies (American Psycho in particular). The first 15 minutes is Batman Begins, the next 50 is Psycho, and the entire third act is Machinist. The whole project really feels taped together: Every Batman scene is completely out of place and doesn't connect well with the other stories, and the audio editing during some cuts is really bad.

This edit employs a great idea, but fails in execution. Maybe if it was just Psycho and Machinist? I'm not sure, but it could have been much better.
