The Complete Riddle reintegrates two deleted scene back into the latest and longest Batman endevour. Six minutes have been edited into the film, making the film now over 3 hours.
The famous deleted Arkham scene is back in the film, where it was intended to be, along with one other scene.
The famous deleted Arkham scene is back in the film, where it was intended to be, along with one other scene.
Intention:
After seeing the deleted scene shortly after release, I absolutely agree about why it was cut. But it was really intriguing, so I decided to edit it back into the film, as well as the other deleted scene on the Blu-Ray.
Other Sources:
I had used the version of the Arkham scene uploaded to VImeo by director Matt Reeves, as the audio leading out of the scene was much more complete here, and it was also 4k, so why not.

I can see some people might prefer the movie with the deleted scenes while others might think it's better without them. For me, I found that these scenes made an already great movie a little bit better. They're also seamlessly reintegrated with the film. I highly recommend this edit

Even though the two scenes were deleted for a valid reason, seeing them seamlessly reintegrated only enhances the experience, making this my new defacto version of The Batman; Penguin and Catwoman's conversation foreshadows the former's hunger for power and contributes to set up his solo tv series, while Joker's scene expands the detective aspect of the film and gives me Silence of The Lambs vibes.
Overall, an excellent product.

I already loved the original when it was released. But this version made me complete. The " Batman and Joker in Arkham" scene made so much sense, It really completes the detective aspect of the whole movie. And the extensions of some scenes really made good use of Matt's vision of "a Detective story set in Arkham".

A superbly executed edit, demonstrating technical prowess with seamless transitions. While my enjoyment was evident, "The Complete Riddle" felt like an extended edition of a film that already had that extended feel. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
