This to me is the definitive version of The Batman, in my mind it's superseded the original. Each cut is polished, purposeful, tasteful, and enhances an already great film. The ending was where I fully bought in to this version: the nonchronological sequencing of the rescue scenes and the departure scenes between Batman and Catwoman was simply brilliant, and the new gorgeous instrumental piece added so much emotional depth—only to be violently whiplashed by the end credit song.
I will heap endless praise on this edit, but the dissonant end credit song choice was a wounding crime against humanity that, for many, will surely disrupt the immersive trance this edit earned up until that point. Gibichung—I'm on my hands and knees begging you to consider a more tonally appropriate song (even "Something in the Way" or a better Nirvana piece would work). Otherwise, it's a perfect 10/10.
