I found this edit to be very odd indeed. It executed on its premise of telling Brendan's story very well, but I found myself struggling to find a meaning in some of it, namely the forest scenes with the Wisp. Knowing the movie there is of course more context but just from this short the narrative is a bit too experimental for me. There were a few audio issues throughout and some overly-quick visual cuts near the beginning, but nothing so bad that it ruined my viewing experience.

This felt pretty rushed, if I'm honest. It starts off with some kind of narrative, but then sort of turns into a fever dream. I wasn't really sure what to make of it, but it was enjoyable for the animation and whimsy, if nothing else. Some cuts at the start were a bit choppy, but it seemed to settle as the edit went on.
