A slightly overrated (but still enjoyable) entry in the MCU, I didn't pick up on a ton of changes from the original version, except that Bobson added in a plot beat that was sorely missing -- namely Fury giving Natasha the holographic face mask that just appears out of nowhere in the original's climax. Much appreciated.
Now if somebody just manages to fix the unnatural and joke-killing way that ScarJo pronounces "mul-tie-tasking" during the opening sequence, I'll be all-in on this one...

Another great Bobson edit. I have two quibbles here, but the good so much outweighs the bad that I'd still say this replaces the original cut on the shelf. I did a deep dive into why this film is so great here: https://nottheacademy.com/movie-review-is-the-winter-soldier-still-the-best-marvel-film/
But as far as the quibbles, the first is common to all the Bobson edits I've seen: non-subtitled language. There are only a couple bits, but they're not moments where we the audience are supposed to be in the dark about what's being said. It's not that kind of film. Missing these lines of dialogue, while not a dealbreaker, is a knock on my enjoyment. Ideally, these would just be hardcoded into the appropriate moments. The other one is simply an abrupt cut at the very end of the film, where Sam's line gets eaten by a cut to black.
Those aside, the narrative is made much stronger by the inclusion of the deleted scenes, all of which are good. TM2YC's work completing the green screen scene is unnoticeable, as are all the other A/V edits in the film. This one is near flawless, cheers Bobson.

Pretty much flawless. I can't rate the A/V editing a 10 as I knew what was/wasn't apart of the original. If I wasn't as familiar with this movie as I am, I wouldn't not been able to tell what was added and when.
Strongly recommend this edit. Better than the original probably, just cause more is better when it comes to a good film like this!

I am a huge fan of CA:TWS and naturally was very interested in watching this edit of the film. I loved it.
I have only one word to describe it - WOW! Bobson took a fantastic film and made it even better!
The deleted and extended scenes are weaved in seamlessly, and truly improve the film. Both Video and Audio are top notch, and TM2YC's work on one of the deleted scenes looks professional.
The only thing that was missing for me was subtitles for the foreign languages dialogue, which Bobson later provided.
Bottom line: Highly recommended.

This is the go-to version of Cap's Winter Soldier adventure. Video editing is seamless for transitions and quality matching (on a 106" projection). Audio editing is seamless (on a 2.1 channel system). All additions are worthwhile.
The green-screen is finished so well I didn't notice it when I watched the movie. Afterwards when I specifically went back to that scene to look for it, I recognized edges during a few moving shots. Very impressive editing!
The only debatable point is whether the movie would be better if some scenes are trimmed. For my preference Barnes gets too much screen time, but I do think that the pacing of the movie is great as it is. So I'm not sure if trimming any Barnes would work well for the risk of throwing off the overall pacing.

Just like the star spangled banner edit, this extended cut of captain america the winter soldier is another great edit of a superb movie made more complete without feeling overstuffed (and yet again all technically impeccable).
Once again, excellent work Bobson!

The reinserted Fury and Natasha scene made the mask reveal a little less convenient. I just wish the original ending dialog has been kept because the cut from the last line to the credits is too abrupt, but I'll give it a pass since it accomplishes what the fan edit set out to do.

This was the very first of Bobson's edit I watched back in the day. I loved how much work he put into getting as much material from blu-ray extras and trailers into the film without making it drag.
This is one of my favourite MCU films and this sits on my media server as my preferred version despite owning the 4K blu-ray.

This is one of my favorite MCU movies, and the inclusion of the deleted and extended scenes was masterfully done, and makes me like it that much more. I liked seeing the additional conversations with Black Widow, and the line at the end of the film was a good addition too. Easy 10/10, great work Bobson.

Love this extended version. It's only 3 minutes longer but manages to give some very nice (and much needed) character moments to Nick Fury, Black Widow and Maria Hill. The only issue I had is that the final line is cut off very abruptly. I know its an extended shot from a trailer, so there isn't much more to work with, but it is unfortunately a fairly jarring cut. Additionally, a few of the deleted scenes had some muddy audio. This is otherwise a fantastic extended cut and has become my definitive version for future rewatches!
