Effective storytelling here, capturing just one player, one dream, from "Field Of Dreams."
Story here is of Archibald (Archie) Graham who barely had the whisper of a chance.
The edit does not waste time, presents the premise, then jumps back to Iowa.
Time constraints are telling in this edit. Other character's narratives surface without resolution.
Kinsalla's motivation, for example, is not explained, nor is the cornfield.
As expected, Adabisi's editing is excellent, and he has done well with his material.

A great excerpt from A Field of Dreams. As I'm familiar with the source material, this worked well for me. However, I fear that anyone who isn't familiar with the film will be left with a lot of questions and won't get the full emotional impact. I think a few more minutes could have been trimmed and replaced with some sort of brief intro. Still, I enjoyed this :)

It looked very nice on the technical side.
Visual Editing: 10
The edits were all perfectly executed, at least I assume there were edits because I didn't notice any.
Audio Editing: 10
Again it was all note perfect on the audio front.
Narrative: 7
I didn't really know what was going, being less than familiar with the source and the sport in question. I guessed that the characters in it were supposed to be famous names from the little stings of music when they were introduced but they meant nothing to me. I also felt that I was boarding an "emotional-rollercoaster" when it was already at full speed, to some extent. I'm sure those who know Baseball and the source would have a different reaction.
Enjoyment: 7
It made me want to check out the source film because it looked decent.

This short didn’t do much for me. I suppose I’ve never been a big fan of Field of Dreams, I’m not super into baseball or Kevin Costner. This was a nice way to highlight a small, self contained little plot (have to love Burt Lancaster). Unfortunately, due to the source material, it’s obvious that this was part of a larger plot. Not a whole lot of momentum here, but there’s nothing the editor could do about that.

Very charming little tale (even for someone who does not care about baseball at all, like me !)
There's a beginning, a middle and an ending, there is a bit of emotion. In such a short time, it's pretty amazing. Editing is very good.
Well done.

This was a good edit of a good movie, probably the most famous baseball film of all time. It is a concise retelling of the main narrative, and features great performances all around. However the only problem I had was that unless you had seen the original you would be quite lost. The edit seems to start in the middle of a scene and this may be disorenting for a new viewer. Nevertheless, technically sound and very entertaining. My favorite moment of course was Burt Lancaster (forgot he was in this), one of the greatest actors of all time imo.

I thought this was OK, but this one left me wanting more. It seemed like there should have been more explanation for the base ball field and it seemed to end abruptly. As far as cuts and audio go, it was waterproof. The A/V was very good compared to some others on the disk.
