Synopsis:
In 2009, Conan O'Brien took over The Tonight Show, but, after only seven months on the job, he suddenly found himself unemployed. Embroiled in a legal battle with the network, Conan took his talents on the road for a 32-city comedy show aptly titled "The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour".

Half an hour of cut scenes, moments, jokes, gags, riffs, and live performances have been reintegrated back into the documentary, for so much more of Conan and his infallable shenanigans. At almost 2 hours long, it really feels like...CONAN O'BRIEN CAN'T STOP!
Intention:
There were so many great little moments in the deleted scenes, that I knew had to be back in the film. Watching a lot of Conan's NBC and TBS shows, and listening to his podcast, I grew to love his interplay with his staff and writers, and there's so muchof that in the cut footage, that it just felt right to put back all this stuff.
Release Information:
Digital
Special Features:
Extra Tour Fun - Unused Odds and Ends (10:41)
Cuts and Additions:
I'm not gonna list every change because there's a lot of little moments here and there that are so quick, so I'll make some general mentions.

- A lot more in the writers room, as the team improv, riff and come up with a lot of bits about what to do during the show
- Longer segements of the actual live stage show, seen shortened in the final film
- More Sona Movsesian!
- New scene of Conan building up to announcing his then-new TBS talk-show, which isn't mentioned until right before the credits in the final film
- Additional messing around backstage and behind the scenes
- Post credits scene! Just something silly though!

Such a fun watch, with great work, as usual, by Mr. Dugnutt. As a huge Conan fan, I was thrilled when I saw this edit had been made, and Bobson did not disappoint. The audio got just a little loud at certain points, and one brief clip at 1:14:18 was either muted or extremely quiet, but none of that took from my enjoyment in the least. Overall, a great and mostly flawless extension to an already great doc!

Edit: Now it's perfect (Yay!).

Thank you for your review and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The quiet segement is like that on the unaltered Blu-Ray, and it wasn't due to my own editing at all. No idea how that slipped through the cracks when they edited the film originally.

I've also gone back and remixed and rebalanced everything so that the louder segements are all at lower volumes. The entire film should now be at the same levels, with the exception of the music segements, which are bombastic. The same link has been updated with the new version.

Thank you!
