Review Detail

Well take me back to the cheese and bad stunt camera angels of early 1970s tv shows. I watched this edit and wondered why I liked this show so much as a kid. IT"S BECAUSE I WAS A KID !!! This brought back such great fun and memories of this era of television. And just had bad it was. Obvious stunt doubles, lame fight scenes etc. All the stuff we lived for as kids watching this stuff. I tried to think of some of the roads they were driving on and I think I have an idea of where they are. When the robots lost their faces I just thought of Westworld and KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park. Same look. (Where's Anthony Zerbe when you need him?) When Steve is given the bullet proof glove to protect his bionic hand if needed. I thought of Michael Jackson (he ripped that off). But the fun of obvious bad props and cheap sets. The robot sounds , sounded like a bad AOL connection. I got a good laugh with the AC/DC track. Using a Bon Scott track very era appropriate. The stock character actor villains. Oh such fun. I was a giggling fool as I watched this. And as for the source material whatever was used it looks great. I was thinking, he could of stretched this to 6 x 9. But that would of ruined the entire experience, best left at 4 x 3 . Well that's about as techie as I get. So between this and Bionic Bobs edits I see a binge days in my future. As "you" know I am in this more for the sheer enjoyment. And man did I enjoy this. Maybe I am gushing too much but hey I had fun watching this. So on my popcorn scale I will double this one up and give it a 10 out of 5.
