Synopsis:
Raised as an oversized elf, Buddy travels from the North Pole to New York City to meet his biological father, who doesn't know he exists and is in desperate need of some Christmas spirit.

Buddy's Big and Tall Edition reintegrates 8 deleted scenes and reshuffles the first act to how it was originally scripted and shot. 7 minutes of all new footage including extended, alternate and deleted scenes are all back into the holiday classic!
Intention:
Watching the deleted scenes, I saw that there was a differently structured first act, with how the reveal of Buddy realising he's a human and not an elf. I prefer it going this way as I feel like it flows far more naturally now. Plus I loved the fun little hockey game too, as well as the other deleted bits and pieces.
Other Sources:
- Elf Blu-Ray: The whole film and deleted scenes came from the disc
- nothing else
Release Information:
Digital
Cuts and Additions:
- Added Buddy dominating the Elf Hockey game, and the post-game locker room banter
- Added scene with Buddy struggling to adapt to the Elf world
- Added Buddy storming home and Papa trying to console him after he was told he's not up to standard at work
- Moved Papa showing Buddy the sleigh to after here, now as an act of love trying to cheer him up
- Added Buddy waking up at home after passing out at work, and Papa telling him the truth about him being a human and not an elf
- Extended scene with Walter telling the Nun he'll be taking back the books due to missed payments

Another excellent job by Bobson Dugnutt. This extended edition is the only way to truly enjoy the movie in HD.
Now you can see the character development and the motives behind every action of the main hero.
Great music re-scoring and color re-touchment.
From your documentaries to your extended edits , you are one the most productive and one of the best fan editor, not to take away the same from the other faneditors.
I know how hard and time consuming edition can be , even though I never did anything like you did, but I know if you want to be a perfect in your job, you need to invest time and passion into it,
Please, keep up the great job.
