The reality is, Final Frontier is essentially an unfinished film due to a last minute slashed budget and a writers strike. Thus, there are plot holes that can not be filled and narratives that can not expanded upon. But hopefully, with fan created CGI shots and some creative editing, I can create something closer to Shatner's original vision in a workprint style format.

I'm calling this The Bass Reeves Cut of HBO's Watchmen. It turns the 9 episode miniseries into a 2 hour and 22 minute movie. My edit primarily concentrates on the mystery of what happened to Judd Crawford and the origin story of Hooded Justice. It centers on Angela Abar and Will Reeves. There's no Adrian Veidt, no Dr. Manhattan and just a bit of Laurie Blake.

American History X had a very tumultuous post-production, ending with the director leaving the film and wanting his name taken off. He has disowned the film as Edward Norton supervised editing, adding over 20 minutes of footage that director Tony Kaye detested.

Based on an early workprint, this edit aims to recut and rearrange the film using this preliminary cut for reference, and present what the director's original intention could have been had he not clashed with the studio.

This edit Removes the scenes taking place in 2035 to create doubt about Coles’ mental state.

An extended version of the James Mangold Restoration (JMR), with all the f-bombs and all the extended scenes, and the yellow suit ending. and a more fleshed out character arc for Harada.

A synthwave rescorded version of the film to make it more in tone with Escape from New York.

In the spirit of my bold my take on the prequel trilogy (Before the Dark Times), comes my attack on the sequel trilogy.

Les Misérables (2012) London 1985 Stage Musical Edit provides a viewing experience of the Oscar-winning musical film that is as pleasing to the ears as it is to the eyes. Each musical number (about 95% of the film) has been dubbed over with studio or concert recordings from the professionals who have performed the musical on the London and Broadway stages. The video has been lovingly adjusted to sync up with the music, and in the time-honored cinematic tradition of a little suspension of disbelief, we can imagine the actors who brought so much passion to the film were also able to sing their parts without running out of air.

In the original movie, Kevin Spacey's character has such a jarring flip on conscience that it almost ruined what is otherwise a really fun movie. So I fixed it! I moved scenes around, added foley, learned some new techniques on Premiere Pro, and even recorded my own voice to fill in some gaps. I hope this redeems Doc and makes the ending more satisfying and fun for everyone!

Marni Nixon's dubbing of Audrey Hepburn's singing has been almost completely replaced with recordings of Audrey's voice (only "The Rain In Spain" remains of Marni Nixon).

The three Star Trek reboot films are a mixed bag for me. It's great to have new adventures of Kirk, Spock, Bones, and all of the Enterprise crew. It's a treat to see the Trek universe with modern SFX. It's endearing to see the camaraderie and (some of) the callbacks to the original series. It's a joy to discover (many of) the updates they made, e.g. Uhura still looks awesome but now her input is frequently essential to the story.
But... the storylines are weak, the villains uninteresting, camera work distracting (and already feels dated), too many scenes feel more Star Wars than Star Trek (the worst offender being the Millenium Falcon shaped ship trying to escape the Klingons through a "canyon" in Wrath of Khan Reboot).
Then again... it is more Trek, new Trek. So it'd be great to add these movies to the list of "let's rewatch them every once in a while, in rotation with other ST shows".

I absolutely adore Leslie Nielsen. I love the Naked Gun and Police Squad, although I feel the latter hasn't aged all that gracefully. The good parts are terrific, but jokes are re-used in each episode up to the point where you are annoyed and it feels lazy. So I aimed to fix that and effectively make a fourth Naked Gun movie instead.
