The landing sequence in First Man (2019) is almost perfectly accurate to the real Apollo 11 landing event, aside from a couple of minor timing issues. This edit attempts to sync up the dramatized landing with actual landing footage and audio taken from the documentary Apollo 11 (2019), as well as making the whole sequence even more exciting with Hans Zimmer's incredible soundtrack from Interstellar (2014).

I have been working on a wild Stars Wars edit of Rogue One (2016). This is a Short for IFDb. It took a great deal of time to make even though it is 5 minutes long. I color graded. I added some softening and sharpening effects. I reframed some shots. Added heavy grain and subtle film damage effects. I wrote the script using official references from games and films.. I timed the music to the scene perfectly, I think.

Recently I tasked myself with piecing together a three or so minute short that tied up the storylines of the 1999 animated series Spider-Man Unlimited, which was unceremoniously cancelled on a cliffhanger.

A short edit comprised almost entirely from scenes and deleted scenes on Naboo. This is intended as a companion piece to my Attack of the Clones No Naboo Cut.

The Narrative differes from AOTC in that the story takes place after the Clone Wars have begun and Anakin and Padme have already fallen in love. Apart from a short scene at the start it all takes place on Naboo.

Blueyoda made an incredibly accurate-to-the-comic edit of the terrible theatrical release of Batman : The Killing Joke. For me though, it still didn't capture the darkness I felt when I originally read the comic, lingering on each page to soak it all in, before I moved to the next daunting page. As much as this was about Batman and Joker coming to terms with their similar motivations to become who they are, this was always more of a Joker story, with Batman reacting to it.

Mine breaks comic accuracy for a more cinematic experience, all about the vibe, lots of dialogue cut here and there. Batman talks less, hopefully more stoic. Little FX touches too, like trying to extend Gordon looking up at Batman out of the cage and making is pupils go from tiny to normal to emphasize his mental state better.

President elect Lex Luthor uses an approaching Kryptonite meteor en route to Earth to convince people that Superman is mentally unbalanced, making him a danger to everyone. Batman and Power Girl assist Superman as all of them become public enemy number one. With the meteor approaching and Lex himself proving unhinged, can anybody avert disaster?

After re-energizing the present-day Turtles, the Turtles of the past have only 3 hours to get back to their time, or they will all cease to exist. Meanwhile, during the 15 hours it took to re-energize the Turtles, the remainder of Dregg's invasion fleet has been completed and has been unleashed on the city and now the Turtles and Carter have to stop Dregg, Krang, and Shredder.

School Reunion is the perfect marriage of Classic and New Who, paving the way for the future mega-hit that was the Sarah Jane Adventures, and giving us emotional closure between The Doctor and the best of his companions (besides Ace) intrepid journalist Sarah Jane Smith.

Count me among the hopeless romantics who don’t feel the show loses a step if The Doctor gets involved romantically with a companion….provided it’s done right…which, frankly, it seldom ever is. It only works in retrospect, and many a time, it works with companions that the writers aren’t forcing into a relationship with the time lord. Donna, Jo, Sarah Jane, they’re remembered fondly in this way because they earned their closeness with The Doctor, because they either complimented him or took him to task, meaning well and looking out for him in the process. These companions were there for him as friends and equals first, and that’s what drew us to them, and it’s also what drew The Doctor to them in the end also.

So when Ten said goodbye to Sarah, I refused to accept he was putting him behind her, and the ongoing saga at the time vindicated that belief as they would meet several more time, with each instance we gained a little more insight into Sarah’s thoughts and feelings towards the man as she built a life without him. In my headcanon, long past the unfortunate end of SJA, a very much alive Sarah is visited upon one more time by The Doctor, revisiting the face of his tenth or seventh incarnation, and they elope, ultimately conceiving the young lady we see recruiting Kate Winslet and the lady off Ever Decreasing Circus against Nazi Eldritch and supercomputer Behemoth in Dark Season
