This cut rearranges the scene order to tell a thought provoking, subtle, compelling story. The result is more of a slow burn-- with gradually escalating conflict (and a little less Hannibal).

The main goals of this edit are to:
• rescue these characters (and us) from drowning in a sea of expository dialogue
• remove excessive setups and flashbacks
• reduce over the top moments and dialogue

• refine the story progression without revealing too much too soon

• trim overacting, especially of Dortlich and to a lesser degree, Hannibal

• make Hannibal’s parents more likable (or at least less annoying)

The film Hannibal is recut to bring the character back in line with Silence of the Lambs, a sick serial killer, not some romantic fellow with a moral code. A drastically changed ending and other recut footage, incorporating deleted scenes, drastically changes the feel of this film.

This corrects HANNIBAL to be more in the spirit of SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. Our favorite serial killer finally is again a monster following his own motives and instincts, which are not explained by morale or deeper logic. This is the how we know him. This is how we love him.

An extended alternate cut,this reintegrates most of the deleted, extended or alternate material. This helps strengthen the relationship between Will Graham and his son.

There are 4 different commercially available cuts of this film, all with their own unique scenes and footage. This now is a composite version with every scene.

This includes most of the deleted scenes and the alternate ending. You will get a whole lot more of Hannibal this time.

This is the incredible attempt to turn HANNIBAL RISING into a good movie. Instead of a superficial, boring, lame serial killer hero tale, this is a much more subtle and greatly pacing improved version, which has only so little in common with the original release. Hannibal rises. Finally worth to be watched.
