I didn’t change much story-wise - just tried to trim the film up as much as possible.

In the original, the first half of the movie flies by quickly and the second half dragged a bit. I’ve tried to fix that by eliminating 20 minutes - most from that second half.

I also tried to cut some of the de-aging shots that did not work in the otherwise fun opening sequence.

With fairly minor cuts this film goes from a good film to a pretty great one in my opinion!

The goal was to make this feel more like the Indiana Jones movies we loved in the 80s. After watching a few edits, I felt they were close, but I never fully got the experience I was hoping for. By removing bad dialogue, CGI and unfunny moments, I hoped to make this seem like a more serious film.

Indiana Jones embarks on the story you love as presented in a less intense Saturday morning kid friendly way. Same plot, less pew pew, blood splat, face melting and nightmare inducing ghosts.

Indiana Jones and his father embark on the the quest to find the Holy Grail in this edit of the story you love with slightly less intense moments.

A faster paced version of Crystal Skull. Removed a lot of filler and bad dialogue and weird action sequences, but it still remains essentially the same story as the original.

Going to see Crystal Skull on opening night is probably the worst cinematic experience I've ever had. You could just feel the room deflate, all the energy disappear, the excitement turned to disappointment. I hated it.

However, time has been kinder than expected to the film. Maybe it's comparing it to what passes for modern "adventure" filmmaking, but it's sort of outdated style kind of works in its favor. There's a lot of things that do work about it. Harrison Ford and the rest of the cast are game. Though it's kind of a "left hand" movie from Spielberg, he's still the greatest movie director of our lifetimes, so it's still got some great visuals and action. The story could be intriguing.

This edit aims to eradicate the paternal cause of some questionable narrative that essentially removed the viewer from the fantasy of adventure and also other complaints I had with the level of schlock falling lower than was necessary. It also aims to strike a balance for those that didn’t mind or could live with certain things like cgi bugs or iconic atomic silhouettes... Cutting the best part of twenty minutes was as far as I’d like to go to try to keep a feature length feel. There be aliens ahead, but differently presented...

If adventure has a name, it must be Indiana Jones! Join Indy, his young sidekick Short Round, and famous American vocalist Willie Scott, on a quest for fortune and glory.
Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom is our hero’s darkest adventure. After finding the remains of an ancient Chinese Emperor, Indy travels from China to India. There he risks his life, and soul, to recover a holy relic from the deadly cult of Kali worshipers.

The Willie Scott edition is a fanedit with a stronger female lead (removing excessive screaming and whining) and fewer distractions that pull the viewer out of the story (removing badly-dated special effects). Care was taken to cut as little as possible to achieve these goals. Where possible, excessive screams were silenced without cutting frames.

Steven Soderbergh replaces the soundtrack (SoundFX, Dialogue and Music) of 'Raiders Of The Lost Ark' with various Electronic pieces by Trent Reznor. The film is also converted to Black and White.

This is Indiana Jones 4 with Mutt not being Indy's son and with other major changes, including removing most of the annoying parts that most fan of the franchise did not like. There's a new opening with Hugh Jackman in the role of the conquistador. Some new little special effects.

I know this is at least the 5th edit of KOTCS out there, so sue me ;) I've removed an additional 3 scenes (Present in all other edits as far as I know) and the partial retention of Mutt's heroics makes this somewhat unique I hope. For me, Mutt needs those swashbuckling Errol Flynn moments to keep his character alive... he just doesn't need to do acrobatics across two Jeeps and have a spiritual bond with a bunch of CGI monkeys. Let the adventure begin!

After the success of Star Wars Begins, filmmaker Jamie Benning (aka Jambe Davdar) embarked upon a new adventure. This time turning his attention to the first film in the Indiana Jones Trilogy (yes, trilogy!). Raiding the Lost Ark, A Filmumentary is the culmination eight months of reading, trawling, interviewing and editing. This time Jamie has sourced some of the interviews himself, with contributors from Wolf Kahler (Colonel Dietrich), Brian Muir (legendary sculptor), Mark Mangini (part of the Oscar winning sound team) and most surprisingly Sean Young (talking about her audition for the part of Marion Ravenwood). Nearly two decades after the last appearance, Indiana Jones is back. The great Steven Spielberg and the great George Lucas, re-teaming with the great Harrison Ford and the great John Williams (cue triumphal brass!), to dig up one of the great adventure series in cinematic history and the result is. . . not bad. . . exactly.

It’s not a desecration of the franchise. It’s just feels . . . tired. So the attempt is to bring some life into a tired film.

This fanedit brings ToD to a way more consistent feel with Raiders Of The Lost Ark. Superfluous or annoying dialogue was removed as well as misplaced shots and cutting scenes thoughout. The slapstick comedic aspects were considerably toned down.

A lot of over-the-top humorous moments have been removed from the movie to give you finally a true Indiana Jones movie, much more fitting to the rest of the series.

What was initially planned as a pretty gentle edit turned out to be as drastic as Infodroid’s Temple of Doom edit. Though it still seems slightly lighter in tone when compared to Raiders, this fanedit turns the 3rd Indy adventure into a fun, dignified, slightly more serious and much more worthy sequel to Raiders.

This edit puts the fourth installment of the Indiana Jones films, back on course. With corrected color and a new approach, this edit seeks to make Crystal Skull look, feel, and play like a classic Indiana Jones film.

A streamlined version of the film, in which the material that catered to the lowest common denominator and children under 5 was removed.
