Most edits of The Mandalorian turn it into a movie or try to change it drastically. This is not one of those edits, this is The Mandalorian for those who like The Mandalorian mostly, but want an easier rewatch.

Boba Fett escapes the Sarlac, gives up bounty hunting, and becomes a friendly tusken tribalist. Years later, as he attempts to gain the respect of a small town on Tatooine by preventing a greedy syndicate from taking control, he befriends a loving rancor. This edit removes scenes that are irrelevant to the plot and also puts everything in chronological order.

The Mandalorian, Season 3 edited as a 2-hour and 30-minute epic war film complete with the Star Wars opening crawl and end credits.

I have been working on a wild Stars Wars edit of Rogue One (2016). This is a Short for IFDb. It took a great deal of time to make even though it is 5 minutes long. I color graded. I added some softening and sharpening effects. I reframed some shots. Added heavy grain and subtle film damage effects. I wrote the script using official references from games and films.. I timed the music to the scene perfectly, I think.

My take on The Phantom Menace. It's pretty conservative story wise, but very active with regards to pacing and tone. I tried to use the same principles for editing that The Phantom Editor used for 'Attack of the Phantom' (but not the original phantom edit) and that I later used for my Return of the Jedi edit. An emphasis has been made on improved pacing and tone, as well as seamlessness and wanting it to feel like it could have been the original film.

Using Hal9000's edit as my baseline, I wanted to mainly fix the Leia Mary Poppins scene by making it appear Luke saves her by using The Force. This required a major reshuffling of scenes to make this work. Now Luke has one more heroic moment saving her sister rather than the ridiculous scene we got in theaters.

After 15+ years of noodling, I've finally landed on a version of the prequels that I prefer. The main concept is to fix AOTC, the weakest link that brings down the other two, and make TPM lead into it, and ROTS build from it.

The biggest problem I have with these movies isn’t necessarily the content. There’s some stuff I’m not crazy about, such as midichlorians and some of Anakin’s whiney, creepy behavior, sure. However, the biggest problem to me is in the minute to minute pacing. They just feel… weird? Off? Something’s not quite right in every single scene. The most egregious example is AOTC, where seemingly nobody talks like a human being, characters stand around clearly waiting for their cue, and much of the action mostly falls flat.

Even worse, the love story doesn’t work, partly because I think they focused on it way too much. The dialogue between Anakin and Padme is shockingly strange, but the chemistry between the two actors is definitely there. Just letting them spend time together would have sold it enough.

So I’m taking another crack at the Prequels, but I’m starting with AOTC, the biggest problem with the trilogy. Once I get that working, I can build up to it with TPM, and off of it with ROTS. The idea here is to go into every scene and remove that disjointed, stagey, unnatural feeling that permeates the film. Action will be pumped up and pacey, conversations will have that zing that they’re lacking, and the movie will move along at a steady pace.

This is Andor season one, rearranged into four movies of roughly two hours each, removing no content whatsoever, just focused on smoothly presenting each major A-plot as a movie whilst moving the supporting B-plots around to keep each movie as focused as possible, so each movie is self-contained and easily digestible.

This is a condensed edit of Season 1 of The Mandalorian. The intent is to use the footage to create a single movie edit that follows the classical Star Wars movie structure and focuses on the core plot of the season.

Rogue One reformatted and rescored entirely as the finale arc of Andor.

In the spirit of my bold my take on the prequel trilogy (Before the Dark Times), comes my attack on the sequel trilogy.

“Vengeance of the Dark Side” tells a more complete story of Anakin Skywalker’s fall from renowned hero to the galaxy’s most dreaded villain by reinserting 5.75 previously deleted scenes (AI-upscaled to 4K and recolored into HDR). Where the theatrical cut follows Anakin nearly exclusively, the extra scenes in this edit give Padmé her own storyline that intersects with Anakin's--providing deeper foundations for his growing mistrust of her--and helping to expand Star Wars lore by showcasing previously unknown aspects of the Force (when the saga is viewed in episode-order) and the conception of the Rebel Alliance even before the Galactic Republic officially falls.

All 3 Star Wars prequels, dramatically retold and re-crafted into chapters to re-tell the story of the rise of Palpatine, the fall of the Jedi Order and the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker, all through the lens of the original trilogy.

A redux? Why?

Because I realised that I've learned so much since I started this hobby that I should revisit one of my earliest edits. Star Wars deserves it. Based on feedback I have now created a new throneroom sequence that is completely doused in red lights instead of blue. It's far more terrifying.

The dreaded Galactic Empire is crumbling. Following the death of the Emperor, regional powers have begun to take up arms against their imperial overlords.
Seeking to end this growing unrest, Supreme Leader Snoke has created the FIRST ORDER, a paramilitary force tasked with crushing dissent in star systems not yet in full rebellion.
Meanwhile, the largest of these separatist governments, The New Republic, has formed their own resistance group to oppose the First Order. But in this time of need, they are without their champion. Luke Skywalker has vanished...

The Kenobi show, trimmed down to a movie length. This series started life as a movie script, and the show just feels like a movie stretched to six hours. This keeps most of the main plot point, but makes it fit as an easily digestible Star Wars film.

Serving as a continuation to The Last Jedi - Consistency Edition, this edit modifies The Rise of Skywalker to be a more fulfilling end to the trilogy by smoothing out the plot, removing convoluted elements, and modifying aspects of the film to elevate the story.

THE CLONE WARS: REFOCUSED presents the entire Clone Wars as a complete series of five seasons of about ten TV-length episodes each. Now structured and presented with the conventions of a more mature modern TV drama, it tells the complete narrative of the Clone Wars, retaining all the most important and enjoyable elements of the show, whilst trimming a vast amount of the weaker content, saving you over 17 hours total while still telling the same core narratives. Episodes have been refined, refocused, reordered and recontextualised to maximise story quality and viewer enjoyment, both for the show’s own complete end-to-end story, and for those seeking a supplement or introduction to new canon like the Mandalorian, Bad Batch, and wider Filoniverse.

Just another ‘Siege of Mandalore’ feature fanedit, cut to my personal tastes, with no changes other than transitions between episodes and a title card for Part II.

Episodes from the 25 best arcs (+2 standalone episodes) are combined to create 27 longer episodes (~40-60m) each presenting a complete, streamlined story without redundant, uninteresting side quests, goofy villains, or childish humor.

Kobe Skywalker's The Dark Side Cut of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith improves upon the original release by making numerous cuts and trims to increase the serious tone of the darkest entry in the saga. Several cringe inducing scenes are removed, single weaker script lines are trimmed, and a few poorly acted moments are cut.

A lighter edit of The Rise of Skywalker removing a few quips, poorly thought out narrative elements (lightspeed skipping, knife compass), while adding a few extended shots to slow the frenetic pacing of the film a bit.

A light edit of The Last Jedi removing a few quips, adding a couple deleted scenes, and shortening Finn & Rose's codebreaker mission.

A lighter edit of the film primarily removing a large portion of the rathtar sequence with a few trims to "humorous" lines and one vfx replacement shot.

The galaxy has been plunged into total war! As clones and Jedi alike are sent far and wide to stop the separatist's advances, Palpatine hatches a wicked plan to end the war and seize total control of the galaxy.

Star Wars with a rocking soundtrack! Heavy Star Wars takes the existing action and adventure, trimming away unnecessary story/action/bad acting, and replaces the soundtrack with Rock music!

This edit makes The Last Jedi a respectful sequel to The Force Awakens as best as possible while also including some elements from The Rise of Skywalker. The terrible humor, unnecessary characters, and pointless side plots have been removed. Characters feel closer to how they were before. The result is a more serious and engaging movie that fits better with its predecessor.

Main changes include the addition of several deleted scenes to expand Padme's presence, the silly antics of R2 & 3PO are removed from the factory and arena battle, and a few of Ani's whiniest/creepiest moments are removed (but I kept in all the cringe romance).

Added several deleted scenes, removed some droid slapstick and Vader's "Noooo!".

A lighter edit of The Phantom Menace than most, removing only the worst of Jar Jar's antics and Ani's acting and trimming the podrace a bit.

Eliminates most of the first half hour of the film to get into the main action faster and preserve the mystery of at least a few of Han's origins.

Gone are Han Solo being Jealous, gone is Luke Skywalker's rediculous plan to give away his droids to the biggest jerk in the galaxy. Gone is Vader changing character since Empire. And a lot more!

I wanted to bring out the great film that was hidden beneath layers of exposition and bad jokes. I have trimmed many scenes to improve pacing, removed as much exposition as possible, removed the bad jokes, re-recorded dialogue for several characters, and adjusted the colours of the film.

As thousands of solar systems threaten to secede from the Galactic Republic, the Dark Side of the Force shrouds the Jedi's vision. Caught up in a plot to assassinate Senator Padmé Amidala, Anakin Skywalker must navigate the balance between his oath to the Jedi Order and his growing feelings for Padmé. A darker take on the Star Wars sequel trilogy, End of Skywalker transforms The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker into a single movie with an all-new, more cohesive story focused on the connection between Rey and Kylo and their uncertain relationship to the Jedi and the Force. Major cuts and changes, not least of which is the use of the Japanese dubs to allow for rewritten dialogue and new English subtitles, results in a thrilling, reimagined Star Wars experience that acts as a definitive end to the Skywalker saga.

A short edit comprised almost entirely from scenes and deleted scenes on Naboo. This is intended as a companion piece to my Attack of the Clones No Naboo Cut.

The Narrative differes from AOTC in that the story takes place after the Clone Wars have begun and Anakin and Padme have already fallen in love. Apart from a short scene at the start it all takes place on Naboo.

The trip to Naboo has been cut and instead Anakin and Padme go straight to Tattoine after leaving Corouscant. In the Jedi council scene Mace Windu now does not tell Anakin to take Padme to Naboo instead Yoda tells him to hide out on Tatooine with Padme.

From Padme packing her bags until the Funeral of Anakin's Mom almost all scenes have been rearranged.

Obi Wan's investigation into Kamino and who created the clone army has him doing more detective work, gathering more clues and now has a satisfying conclusion to the Sifo Dyas mystery.

Various cuts and trims to Anakins dialogue to create a stronger character and beter romantic arc with Padme.

Scenes cut:
Anakin and Padme traveling to Naboo as refugees.
All the Naboo scenes (with the exception of the Fireside Conversation scene which now will take place on the Lars Moisture farm on Tatooine. The scene now comes in between Anakin returning with the dead body of his mother and her funeral).

Added deleted scenes:
Padme in the Senate.
Obi Wan and Mace Windu on the landing platform as Obi Wan is leaving for Kamino.
Obi Wan with Analysis droids (This scene now takes place on Kamino after he talks to Jango Fett. The Droid dialogue will be replaced so that when they analyze the Dart they discover the toxic poison comes from the Moons of Bogden.)
Anakin and Padme speak with Dooku on Geonosis.
Anakin and Padme are sentenced to death by Poggle on Geonosis.

Two main goals here, beyond just the general nips and tucks. ONE - Give the film more of an OT vibe with color correction, film grain, and new music throughout. TWO - Improve Anakin’s story. I find his fall to the dark side in the theatrical film to be rather sudden and unconvincing. So here my job was to sort of smooth out the kinks - trying to make Anakin more sure of himself and his allegiance to Palpatine before the turn, and then somewhat softening his words and actions after the turn. There’s a lot of subtle little changes and tweaks that went into this all across the film, but I do feel like the sum is that his story in this version is more believable.

This is a "Rey Nobody" edit, removing her link to Palpatine. The other major change is that Leia dies toward the beginning of the film, removing her from the plot.

The core idea is to strengthen the ties to The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi to give a clear character arc to both Rey and Kylo Ren.

I also removed some unnecessary jokes and tidied up some action beats. The goal is to create a fun, engaging movie that satisfies as an ending to these character's stories.
