This is my first documentary as a video editor. I talk in it about how I made the edit, about fanedit.org, about editors, and about Red Apple Crew. The edit also contains behind-the-scenes commentary by Clint Eastwood (the director), other actors in the film, as well as producers and film critics. It has behind-the-scenes photos and information that appears as you watch.

The edit goes back and forth between the bluray version of the original film and my edit, comparing and contrasting them. Commentary plays sometimes, text appears on-screen throughout, and I talk in a few spots.

1. The Telephone. Giallo-style thriller in which a woman is terrorised by her former pimp after his escape from prison, and tries to escape him with the help of her lesbian lover, who has a dark secret of her own.

3. The Drop of Water. A nurse steals a ring from the corpse of a dead spiritualist, which naturally tries to get it back.

This movie in its original format feels like there should be more going on than there actually is, and it left me feeling unfulfilled and slightly annoyed. By removing as much of the filler and misleads as possible without hurting the flow of the narrative, I believe I have made a movie that treats its viewer with more respect while telling an interesting story with a fairly unique premise.

This is a coma-only edit of two episodes from Season 6 of the Sopranos, telling the story of a salesman who can't seem to find his way back to the world he came from. Something is happening, but he's just not sure what, and finding out might be the last thing he ever does.

This version differs in that I have removed a silly inclusion of a slide whistle doing a wolf call whenever our "hero" sees a pretty lady.

This is an edit of Peter Jackson's King Kong without most of the silliness. Where things move quicker, but there's still room for a breather.

There was a story about 2 brothers who had a natural talent for alchemy called Fullmetal Alchemist. This story was originally told in a manga, but before the manga was finished an anime was put out. The anime had to change and create some original story elements because the manga was still ongoing at the time.

After the manga had finished they wanted to revisit the anime with a version closer to the actual story told in the manga. This would be known as Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. The only thing was due to retreading some story elements told in the original anime, they shortened some story beats for FMAB.

This edit adds and replaces scenes from the director's cut to the theatrical cut to expand the film while avoiding the philosophy of time travel excerpts in order to preserve the ambiguity of the theatrical cut.

A simple update of Doctor M’s Reconstructed Gangrel Hybrid Cut, now in HD, taking this classic to its maximum possible runtime in the best possible quality.

This is a fanmix of Peter Weir's classic The Truman Show, reimagined as a psychological thriller in the style of Hitchcock/Lynch, viewed exclusively through Truman's perspective.

ABC forced Frost and Lynch to name the killer mid-season and it really changed the series direction from Episode 10 and on.
This fanfix covers ONLY those episodes, which is everything after Laura's killer's reveal.

The goal of this edit is to keep the main Cooper/Black Lodge story in focus while also keeping the subplots that
actually had a payoff at the end of the season and keeping Windom Earle a more menacing force.

The Complete Riddle reintegrates two deleted scene back into the latest and longest Batman endevour. Six minutes have been edited into the film, making the film now over 3 hours.

The famous deleted Arkham scene is back in the film, where it was intended to be, along with one other scene.

At 2 hours and 32 minutes, "The Batman Unmasked" doesn't redefine the original source but delivers a leaner thriller while maintaining the essential mood and story.

A streamlined and fast-paced narrative, in the structural and musical spirit of either the Lord of the Rings franchise or the original, epic score. Season 3 in 3 hours and 4 minutes - either with Howard Shore or the original Game of Thrones score.

The main source for this edit is the Director's Cut blu-ray, with all unique footage of the Theatrical Cut put back in, while also retaining the small amount of unique DC footage. The HD DC footage looks fantastic but the SD TC footage looks extremely poor, however, I've attempted to grade it to match and added film grain to try and make it look a bit more like terrible 16mm or 8mm footage, rather than terrible videotape. Not wanting to crop the already blurry TC footage any further, I've elected to letterbox the DC footage to match the 1.66:1 ratio of the TC. The difference is still obvious though.

Building on 'The Implicit Cut' as a foundation, this new cut makes various changes in order to accommodate the possibility that 'The Haunting' is all in Eleanor's mind. Changes include a new opening and ending, tweaked dialogue and a narrative structure that never leaves Eleanor's side. This edit can be viewed both with or without internal monologue.

The re-telling of the Eastrail 177 Trilogy in SPLIT UNBREAKABLE GLASS was the first part of an experiment to retool these movies with a new narrative structure to facilitate surprises, adjustments to reveals, new parallels, new opening and closings and much much more. One can be surprised again.

In what may be a fanediting first, this version takes extensive material NOT used in SPLIT UNBREAKABLE GLASS (Dr Fletcher and David's marital issues) and tells the same (or similar tale) as an alternate version of the events from a very different perspective. Over 50% of this version of events is newly repuposed and previously unused and differently structured. With a different resolution and enough left untold to permit both edits to surprise and re-reveal, UNBREAKABLE GLASS SPLIT and SPLIT UNBREAKABLE GLASS can be watched in any order and still shine a BRIGHT light on M/ Night Shyamalan's genius, patience and discipline in anchoring these characters in the real world.

Adds back all the scenes from the Theatrical Version that were removed in the Director's Cut, giving the longest version of the film yet.

This edit aims to improve on the pace of the original in areas where it is unnecessarily slow, as well as remove all reference to the spiders.

Redundant threads (marriage issues from Unbreakable and Dr Fletcher from Slpit) and over- exposition (from Glass) have been removed. Scoring has been adjusted to permit music motifs to run through the narrative consistently, Deleted material has been used only where the narrative requires it.

New opening and closing titles have been created and all crew are credited (source IMDB).

Shutter Island retold in the style of Memento. Scenes have been rearranged and the story altered to give a new ending.

Leonard Shelby can't make new memories. He can remember everything up until the night that his wife was murdered, but everything that happens after fades within a few minutes. Ever since that night, Leonard has been searching for the man that killed his wife, John G.

Leonard wakes up in a motel room and receives a phone call. 5 hours later, Leonard pulls up to a tattoo parlor with information that could enable him to finally track down John G and get revenge. The two plotlines proceed chronologically in parallel until they both culminate in a shocking conclusion.

A sadly not so expansive extended cut of the 2nd live-action Scooby-Doo film.

Three extended and deleted scenes have been added back into the film, integrating 3 minutes of new footage.

The live-action Scooby-Doo film from the early 2000s has now been extended with 7 new deleted and extended scenes, including a new alternate opening.

Eight minutes of restored and reintegrated footage has now been woven back into the classic Mystery Inc. Caper!

The Sharpened Cut aims to create the longest cut of Rian Johnson's whodunit as 2 subplots are reincorperated back into the film.

Four new extended and deleted scenes have been integrated into the film, adding four of new footage into the film, and an extra layer of intrigue and motivation for a few characters.

Taking a few things here and there from "The Empty Hearse" I have created "The Reichenbach Fall: The Bollocks Edition", or, for anyone who likes to romanticise, The Sherlolly Cut, where I've made Anderson's theory at the beginning of Empty Hearse official as the climax to this story, and thus canonising Sherlock and Molly, with Sherlock hanging out with her in exile, the edit ends with Sherlock looking to get back into the game after two years of laying low, he wants Molly to help him, Molly wants dinner...and we leave it there at that. The end. Toss seasons three and four aside, and go down with this 'ship!

A New York cabbie and author of a conspiracy theory newsletter seeks the aid of a government employee after he falls victim to a conspiracy that threatens his life.

This project takes the Criterion blu-ray for Orson Welles' 1968 film 'The Immortal Story' and conforms it frame-by-frame to the longer cut, blending in the missing 4-minutes of footage, re-framing every shot and attempting to upscale and grade it to match.

Spoilers of course. Though usually people come here knowing the score.
This edit aims to eradicate the paternal cause of some questionable narrative that essentially removed the viewer from the fantasy of adventure and also other complaints I had with the level of schlock falling lower than was necessary. It also aims to strike a balance for those that didn’t mind or could live with certain things like cgi bugs or iconic atomic silhouettes... Cutting the best part of twenty minutes was as far as I’d like to go to try to keep a feature length feel. There be aliens ahead, but differently presented...

A streamlined version of the original movie, with snappier dialogue and action but no major scenes removed. The same film you remember, yet half an hour shorter.

After a showdown between Cooper and his doppelgänger, Cooper must find the person he's desperately sought for so long: Laura Palmer.

Part V combines and trims episodes 1, 8, 17, and 18.

Cooper finally recovers and makes his way back to Twin Peaks, the same destination as his evil doppelgänger. Worlds collide in this penultimate part!

Evil Cooper, also known as Mr. C, continues to search for the coordinates he so desperately seeks, coordinates that will lead him to the fabled entity known as Judy.
