Synopsis:
It's the height of World War II. Or possibly the early 1980s. A group of elite commandos - or possibly test subjects - have been administered the latest in psychotropic drugs. They embark on an odyssey of a mission/hallucination. This footage represents the only known documentation of the event, as perceived by the test subjects / operatives. Caution: contains graphic violence and strong language. And nudity - I think. I'm not entirely certain about that last one.
Intention:
Inspired by TM2YC's Star Wars Holiday Special edit - and made with his blessing - this is my attempt to condense the strangest movie I've ever seen into twenty minutes, highlighting the sheer madness of it all. No footage has been altered in terms of visuals, sound, or speed. Only duration, sequence of events, and frequency of events have been altered. Less than you'd think from watching it. It really is that odd.
Additional Notes:
No DVD version. The real DVD used is significantly worse than most VHS copies, to my knowledge. 480p streaming is more than sufficient.
Other Sources:
None. This is Fantasy Mission Force. Nothing more, nothing less.

Man, what a rush!
For fans of old school Hong Kong this is pell mell action.
The image is not the best, 640 X 480p. Appears VHS derived.
Worse, the audio is dubbed. Actually, that makes it much funnier.
What’s missing? Why, subtitles of course. In this case, they ought to be incoherent and have nothing to do with screen activity whatsoever.
Ostensibly a mission against Axis powers, agent Jackie Chan and a horde of extras tangle with soldiers, smugglers, kidnappers, Scottish Highlanders, an inept officer corps, masked cavalry, ninjas, Amazon warriors, and, wait for it, Snake Plissken!!
“Fantasy Mission Force” was ever an insane experience.
One gathers Mr grindhouse has cut and warped this as if he were under intoxicants and hallucinogenics.
Hence, the “Fear and Loathing” prefix.
Edit is neither worse nor better than the original, though the plot condensation is brilliant!
