Most new users don't bother reading our rules. Here's the one that is ignored almost immediately upon signup: DO NOT ASK FOR FANEDIT LINKS PUBLICLY. First, read the FAQ. Seriously. What you want is there. You can also send a message to the editor. If that doesn't work THEN post in the Trade & Request forum. Anywhere else and it will be deleted and an infraction will be issued.
If this is your first time here please read our FAQ and Rules pages. They have some useful information that will get us all off on the right foot, especially our Own the Source rule. If you do not understand any of these rules send a private message to one of our staff for further details.
With a FanFix, the editor is typically attempting to fix perceived issues with a film. A FanMix fanedit instead modifies the story so drastically as to make it a new and unique movie experience. TV fanedits generally try to re-edit a show to feel more like a movie.
This forum contains edits that don't fall into our typical definition of fanedits, yet they are not anything which you can purchase commercially. This sub-forum is also dedicated to the discussion of short form fanedits.
Contains projects that collect and preserve unreleased movies and television series. Includes alternate versions of films such as workprints and TV cuts.
A custom DVD takes an existing movie or show, which has had a commercial release and puts it into a new setup by adding (or deleting) features and featurettes. Distribution mentioning is not allowed.
