Ahsoka (Spoilers within)

Ummm....okay.
It's a quote from the Mandolorian.

Yes I have understood correctly. Is Andor below Ahsoka?

I like to keep track of these and also produce an average of the userscores.
Ahsoka is very much below Andor, across the board. (I last updated it last week but it wasn't shifting much anyway)

Every one of those rankings seems insane to me. 🤣

Much to my wife's confusion, I also love keeping spreadsheets of useless information like this. Glad to know there are more members of this weird club!

Make an Ahsoka fanedit after the next mini-series / movie that plays out Thrawn and Ezra returning in the SW galaxy. Then this series can be made into the best setup for that story.
The ending of this story felt so unsatisfying to me that I'll need a sequel / spin-off to be so enjoyable that that motivates me to make a fanedit.

The title could be: "Star Wars Rebels, The Live-Action Movie - The Return of Ezra Bridger".

To play up the SW Rebels focus, I'd insert the Mandalorian scene of Zeb talking with Captain Teva in a bar. Dub part of the dialog (using Teva lines from Ahsoka, Zeb lines from Rebels) to add a connection to the Ahsoka story and make Zeb say something like "Here you go again, flying off to save our friends." Swap / crop / trim some shots so it doesn't look like a copy-paste of the Mando scene.

Watched the PATTERSON CUT.

A vast improvement. It really brings all the strengths of narrative and characters to the forefront. The new colour timing is much welcomed. The new additions work really well. Certain inherent story flaws can not be changed, but I found this fan edit to be a very entertaining experience.

is it possible to officially talk about edits for this now?
The series wasn't fully released by this time last year was it? just the first few episodes.

I'm edited quite a bit myself, i am up to part way through episode 7 currently.

I couldn't see any information on the website for the Patterson cut, what approach have they taken? I noticed Anakin there so i assume that dream sequence and flashback thing are still in it.

The Patterson Cut runs about 2 Hour 35 minutes. It opens with the classic SW crawl and the bad guys already have the map. It instantly feels like Star Wars and that feeling continues throughout. All the big plot are still intact, but there are tons of smaller cuts and trims for pacing and streamlining.

Thanks. Seems like it's a very different beast from mine,
I'm not taking out any major sections, mainly plot threads and certain scenes that only serve those plot threads.

yeah, my version was similar. No major threads removed.

Some news below, it sounds like we're getting an Ahsoka Season 2 but not until much later.

I'm really interested on where this lands in the timeline since I thought there were whispers of Filoni doing his version of Heir to the Empire as a movie. I'm looking forward to that if he does take that on. I'm gonna guess Season 2 ends with bringing Ahsoka and Sabine back to the main galaxy and his movie would then take place.

Tried to fix this scene, I'm not a big fan of Sabine suddenly becoming a force user.

Thanks for sharing that clip, that's a really interesting solution. It is a little jumpy, but could work within the overall flow of the scene. I'll be keeping this in mind for when I reach that point in my edit.

Is that meant to be the same slightsaber? It changes from green when Sabine is holding it to blue for Ezra.

This is a fascinating watch....

A review of the Patterson edit... It's still a big "nope" for me. :P
