As you could probably guess from previous posts I am quite a big Cobra Kai fan, I think the show is perfect and the series creators always out-do themselves by each season.

With Season 3 being released earlier I was able to watch it TWICE. I personallly love the new season and the whole show I just wanted to know what everyone else thought too.

Just finished Season Three!

So much fun.  Just the perfect amounts of cheese, corny, nostalgia and heart.

My wife and I pretty much smiled through the whole thing.

I didn't want it to end, I personally think it got better as it went on :)

COBRA KAI (season five Netflix)

Earnest underdog cheesiness at it's spellbinding best!!!

After four seasons of teasing and backtracking, this is The Payoff Season. Alliances, friendships and reconciliations that you have been rooting for finally happen! And it all rousingly climaxes in the fantastic season final "Head of the Snake".

A very emotionally rewarding season. In fact, it would almost be a pitch perfect series finale if it was not for two dangling plot threads. Thankfully we have season SIX to look forward to!
And I will say it again, as I did at the end of season 4, they better bring back Hillary Swank next!

Glory of Love FUN! 👍👍👍😁

Just found out that they're doing a Karate Kid/Karate Kid crossover with Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan to "end" the franchise after Cobra Kai:

From what I have read, this is a completely separate Sony project. The writers/producers of Cobra Kai have zero involvement. So how much overlap there will be, if any, has not yet been revealed.

if they want to round out the franchise then surely it would make more sense if the Kid was Japanese? I have nothing against Chinese people, I just think with it being Karate Kid, it would be a bit more respectful. They already have Jackie Chan and I do like him for the most part, it would have made a nice poetic triangle of cultures, and bring it full circle from Mr Miyagi, via an American, beck to a Japanese student, with the tutelage of a Chinese person representing the historical roots of Karate.

From the poster it looks like Ralph Macchio will be a supporting character. No Johnny Lawrence. But who knows, if it's hit maybe they will feature more "Karate Kid Legends." I would rather have this than nothing. Cobra Kai never dies.

Season 6 Part 2—
Pure awesome sauce!
Staying true to its successful formula while allowing characters to grow and learn from their past. And ACTION PACKED!

Plus, more seeding for a Miyogi prequel series.

Part Three can not arrive soon enough! 🥰😁👍

The way they split this season, I sorta lose interest in it.
I hope they don't repeat this strategy in future.

I love the new episodes but agree with @tremault that releasing them in 5 episode segments is annoying. Netflix is doing this with most of their shows not just Cobra Kai. I assume it's to release as much content as possible while shortening the window between episodes. But only five at a time, really? Anyway I am still excited yet sad for the finale.

Also Coldplay just released this yesterday:

That's a really lovely song. I do like Coldplay anyway. Lovely celebration of Daniel san.
