Let’s hope he didn’t hear “come on down!” 🤣

No offense intended. My grandmother, who died in the early 90s absolutely adored Bob Barker.

My son when he heard us say Bob Barker died asked which Spider-Man he was. 🤣

Steve Harwell of Smash Mouth has passed at 56 :(

A long summers day,
Stetching out the cold
Searching for the answers,
And some say I'm not alone

Could you tell me
Where I might find
Fallen horses?
Their spirits they fly .

Blinded by the whiteness,
Staring at the sun,
I'm wishing that I had wings
So that I could become one.

Would you help me
If I wanted to die?
I could ride off
With horses tonight.

Tell me why!
Why oh why?
I said why.
Why oh why?

Now that I've arrived here ,
I know I'm not alone.
All my friends among me
Tell me welcome home.

But could you tell me
Where I might find
The one I'm looking for?
'Cause her wings have arrived.

Tell me why!
Why oh why?
I said why.
Why oh why?

Rest in peace to Matthew Perry. Played one of my favourite characters as a kid and I always got a kick out of seeing him in movies.

Shane MacGowan: Pogues singer dies aged 65

He was only something like 26 when he wrote the lyric below, when you'd think you'd need to be 65 and on your death bed to write something this powerful, beautiful and thoughtful looking back on life:

'A Rainy Night in Soho' by Shane MacGowan

I've been loving you a long time
Down all the years, down all the days
And I've cried for all your troubles
Smiled at your funny little ways

We watched our friends grow up together
And we saw them as they fell
Some of them fell into Heaven
Some of them fell into Hell

I took shelter from a shower
And I stepped into your arms
On a rainy night in Soho
The wind was whistling all its charms

I sang you all my sorrows
You told me all your joys
Whatever happened to that old song?
To all those little girls and boys

Sometimes I'd wake up in the morning
The ginger lady by my bed
Covered in a cloak of silence
I'd hear you talking in my head

I'm not singing for the future
I'm not dreaming of the past
I'm not talking of the first times
I never think about the last

Now the song is nearly over
We may never find out what it means
Still there's a light I hold before me
You're the measure of my dreams

James McCaffrey has passed away. Although he's had a number of live action roles, he is best remembered for is voice acting work, especially as Max Payne in the eponymous video game series. His gritty performance made the stylized noire of those games land in the best way possible. Rest in peace.

Roger Corman
Thanks for all the fun, buddy.
The death of a "Celebrity" usually doesn't have much effect on me, but this one stings.
