Yes, the colors did look over-saturated in v2.5, but I just assumed that was the look in the original Star Wars. Apparently Harmy was using a 'raw' print, which had not been color graded properly, as his reference point, hence the mixed up colors, which have been largely fixed in this new version.
As for the new version 2.7, I have created an updated custom bluray disk for anyone interested. Here are the features included.
- Motion Menu (featuring the original star wars trailer)
- 8 Audio options*, including:
1. 5.1 Surround
2. 2.0 Stereo
3. 1.0 Mono (@tm2yc, this one is for you)
4. Bluray Commentary (2011)
5. The Canon Podcast Commentary - Devin Faraci and Amy Nicholson (2016)
6. Red Letter Media - Mr Plinkett Commentary (2012)
7. Rifftrax Comedy Commentary (2011)
8. Steele Wars Podcast - Live Comedy Commentary (2015)
- Special Features, including:
1. Documentary on the sources used for the Despecialised Edition by Harmy (11 mins)
2. All Changes made to Star Wars since 1977 comparison video (25 mins)
3. Star Wars Deleted Scenes (16 mins)
4. 1977 Making of Star Wars Doco (49 mins)
Please PM me if you are interested in this Bluray version of Star Wars Despecialized.
*All the commentaries have been recut to fit the theatrical edition, as they were originally recorded for the special edition. All of these commentaries are for sale, and I have purchased each of them. If you download a copy of this Bluray, please purchase the commentaries. They are fantastic, and only cost a few dollars each.
