• Most new users don't bother reading our rules. Here's the one that is ignored almost immediately upon signup: DO NOT ASK FOR FANEDIT LINKS PUBLICLY. First, read the FAQ. Seriously. What you want is there. You can also send a message to the editor. If that doesn't work THEN post in the Trade & Request forum. Anywhere else and it will be deleted and an infraction will be issued.
  • If this is your first time here please read our FAQ and Rules pages. They have some useful information that will get us all off on the right foot, especially our Own the Source rule. If you do not understand any of these rules send a private message to one of our staff for further details.

Amount of time Cut/Added: About 10 minutes, but I'll get into that later.
Fanedit details: This take the theatrical release of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and edits it into three "episodes" of the new TV series. Note: this film was originally constructed of four episodes, not three. Running time varies from 26 to 35 minutes. Call them "extended" episodes if you must.
Cuts removed/added/extended:
- Removed "news reel" opening from all episodes. It goes from the title right into the action.
- Removed all references to Jabba's son until the end of the first episode.
- Removed redundant dialogue. We're adults, we don't need everything spelled out.
- Cut down on some of Ahsoka's child-ishness.
- Each episode has a sped up version of the end credits, exception being the third, which has the original credits sequence intact.

Watched last week, and enjoyed. If I ever make it up to 50 posts, and this is yet to be approved, I will do a detailed review. :)

Do has this been approved then? Its listed under "The Latest True Fanedits are:" but I don't see the big thumbs up anywhere.

and why should it be? The faneditor has already been approved.

I've now watched the first one.

Excellent job.

The tonal shift is significant (in the same way the latter half of the first season was much less goofy), and - at least for the one I've watched - it feels like a nice standalone episode from part of a larger arc. Great work.

this fanedit is no longer availble.

Dammit, really? Been ages since I've looked at my Mediafire account. I'll get on getting this back as soon as I can.
