Intention:
A Special Project that amends the 1997 mystery thriller "The Game" into a PG-13 outing.

Edit/Cutlist:
-Remove the ~30 f-bombs and majority of other profanity from the film
-Remove the porno sounds/scenes coming from the TV in the hotel scene and other explicit imagery
-Small trims throughout to help with audio edits (carjacker, roof top, glow paint, etc.)

I haven't seen The Game is AGES. But I loved it. Subbed to this thread. Excited to see what you do with it.
 
Well I missed the tentative deadline (wanted to make it release on what would have been the main character's birthday). Oh well, life has a way of doing that.

Here's the current state of the edit. All cuts have been censoring cuts thus far and the markers are all of the other like cuts that need to be made. I'm currently strategizing on how to deal with the hotel scene. A key plot point presents itself in the scene so it can't be removed in its entirety nor can a later scene implementing a character. Anyway, here's a time line for all of you timeline lovers out there.

I'll always remember The Game as the film that broke my brain. It's the sort of movie I like to put in front of people so I can see thier reaction.

Did you find a way round this?
 
I haven't found a work around yet on the hotel scene. I think a short high light of the photo and a rebuilt surround track might do it.
 
Is this project dead? I just bought the Blu of this and re-watched it. It was great.
 
With the Coaxium Heist finished I'm now able to focus on this project again. I was able to figure out a way to address the hotel scene to keep it mild but still show everything that is needed in terms of plot. This one is looking like I can probably pull it off this month. I'll be messing around with the color to see if I can get some of the greens out of this one.
 
Alright, this one is done. Here's the plex/digital poster for the edit. I'll post again when the file is available.
