The Matrix Revolutions Reloaded by Wraith

I highly suggest not keeping the password a secret, since it's not one of the "popular" options. What's the point in making it available to download if "Oops, I need a password and now I need to send a PM to the editor." It frustrates and confuses people.

Remember, not everybody who downloads and watches fanedits partakes in forum discussion.
 
Furthermore, I really don't want this thread to devolve into a series of "what's the password?" and "PM sent" posts.

So which option didn't you try? I'm guessing it was the PM part, which was the one I was referring you to. Send a PM to the editor.

The evolution from 6.2iv to 6.2v was the smallest change of the edit to warrant a change in my nomenclature.
In fact the MP4 is 6.2iv, and the DB and DVDs are 6.2v.
The differences????
i) In the Tank/Neo chat with the Zion vision, 2 shots are swapped...it flowed awkwardly
ii) The conversation with The Merovingian restores to the 6.2v two shots of the blonde. At the very las minute I decided that the KISSING joke at the chateaux did not fit the edit and I finally removed it....When I then wwatched the whole thing YET AGAIN...I missed that moment....so I put it back....After I released the MP4, I realised that to keep the joke I had to have some set up...even if small...hence this minor change. Its the only change in the edit which is not consistent with my essay....I LIKE THAT JOKE....

As far as viewers are concerned this is Version 1

I still have about 20 versions of the evolution of what I kept thinking was a LOCKED edit....But this is it.
Maybe one day I'll do a "criterion collection" box set,...The Assembly Cut, The TV version, THE UNRATEDD VERSION, The Butcher's cut.....LOL
It all looks obvious now...But I'm almost done on CLINT...Aint revisiting this.....Others may tinker

The Matrix in '99 hit me along the line of Star Wars at the age of 7, maybe not quite as strong! Was a little nervous going in but your rationale make perfect sense and I too have not been able to view the trilogy in full again. Particularly Revolutions.

I must say I was pretty blown away! This is clearly a very well planned effort and for a Matrix fan, I'm now a Revolutions Reloaded fan too. Thanks Wraith.
 
Every ones in a while there is a new fanedit for the Matrix sequels and I have almost every time thought that the work put in trying to fix these movies have seemed waisted since I didn't believe the source material could be fixed. It was beyond saving. Doctor M did some interesting things with his HACKED edits but it wasn't enough. Anyone heard of the expression "you can't polish a turd"? Okay I shut up now.....

Wow! just....Wow! This is the one. The cover art brags that this is "The Ultimate Matrix Fan-Edit" and it's not far from the truth.

If you are a matrix fan and was/is disappointed with the sequels YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS FANEDIT!

The pacing is perfect! The final scene is perfect. And the final fight with agent Smith when Neo are going after Trinity I was pumped. So good! But as some other reviewer have said, one thing doesn't makes sense. After the key-maker have died and Neo goes through the door and then it is the final fight between Neo and Smith.

It feels like a workprint sometimes (that are on the right track of perfection) like some footage are missing, some scene feels a little rough. I'm guessing that it was a pain in the butt to make some of these new sequences happen, footage not existing that was needed, so this is something I guess we have to live with.

I think that this should just have been a edit of the sequels since the first movie is perfect. That is my one big complaint.

Also I don't now about the new score in some scenes, but that might be because I'm so used to the original score. It will probably grow on me.

But all that aside (nitpicking because it isn't 100%) the negative doesn't stop this from being very very good. I never thought that the sequels could be edited into something this good honestly. Thank you Wraith.
 
Belatedly....2 years...
much more complex than it looks since story came first....have you seen it and dud you read the essay? Please try the bluray, quality is high and some good extras.

Are you responding to someone? The last posts before yours are from half a year ago. Your posts in general are very difficult to understand, you seem to have no grasp of how difficult it really is for those of us reading, and the lack of context doesn't help in this case.

In keeping with tradition...I'm back...and it's been a year.
I could not access my account...and now I can again...

I know my typos, are frustrating...my posts can seem disjointed, and I'm prone to rambling.....
I'm grateful for all interaction, critical or positive since I want to ensure I don't annoy and just spread the joy of our wonderful hobby.
