The semi-visible pizza thread

When it comes to st Louis style cracker thin crust, I have to go with Monicals. You have any of those out that way? Delicious pizza, really well seasoned Herby crust and cheese.
None around here. Send me some?

No, we aren't seriously doing it. We're very sillily (that's probably not a word is it?) doing it.

Relax. Take a deep breath. Wiggle your butt a little. It feels good

...pineapple ...on pizza. It's magical.
HOW DARE YOU? Just kidding, pineapple on pizza is good actually.
I've got a pineapple habanero hot sauce I've been putting on pizza. It's magical.
Pineapple habanero hot sauce on pizza sounds interesting. I don't think I've tried any sort of hot sauce on pizza actually. I don't consume much hot sauce in general, I need to work on that.

The other day at work, the topic of pineapple on pizza came up, and we started trying to come up with other fruits that could hypothetically go on pizza. We came up with nothing, but I'd be interested in hearing other opinions on the matter.

Oh yeah, I had some pizza last week, it was some specialty BBQ pizza from a place I don't usually go to. I can't remember what exactly was on it, but it was delightful.

I love spicy food but I don't consume a lot of hot sauce either. I prefer grounds from hot peppers. Seems to blend with the flavor of the food better.

I do like Frank's extra hot on pizza though

Now I know I haven't been the best pizzarean. But I have bought a brick of pizza mozzarella, and I will grate it.

Well, anyhoo, can I have $40,000?

Just had a Bombay pizza from a new place in Montclair, NJ called Dhamaal. Really good stuff!
It used Amul cheese, sweet corn, and spicy, Indian sauce on top.

If you're in the NJ area, it's a pretty unique slice!

I have not but I can see that working.

PS, I'm eating pizza right now but it's delivery.
Try it! Frozen pizza like Jack's or Red Baron or something similar grill great! Jack's even has grill instructions on the box.

I assume home made would work as well except you'd probably have to do the first step of pre baking the crust in the oven but you could probably finish it on the grill

I've heard of corn on pizza. I like corn and I like pizza but I just can't picture them together.

And Indian sauce? I dunno... I feel like this is something I could enjoy but only if I mentally convinced myself that it wasn't pizza beforehand. Like if I didn't see it as pizza but as it's own dish I think I could like it but if I went in looking for pizza and got that I don't think it would work out

I grill Jack's pizza all the time, it works perfectly, it's even in the cooking instructions.

"grilling pizza" just prompts a mental image of someone at a grill at a cookout comically trying to flip a pizza over with a spatula.

Unrelated, in the past when my dad would cook a frozen pizza (in the oven of course), sometimes I'd jokingly ask if he remembered to flip it, and there was always a brief look of panic before he realized I was messing with him. I'm a comedic genius.

Pepperoni pizza for lunch.
One 'a these badboys.

Just had an Imo's PIzza. Like I said previously, it's been a long time... A long time.
you'll be happy to know some grocery stores where I'm at sell their pizza frozen.
It was a frozen one. Turned out just like I remembered from the resturant.
Nice nice.

Pizza may seem unimportant to some people, but many don't realise the dangers of not being able to rely on having a local pizza store and good delivery options. Imagine if you never knew if your pizza would turn up? You'd feel tense every time you order it and the experience would be unpleasant all around. We should never take our pizza for granted.
For the record, ham and pineapple is mana from heaven.

Don't joke about pizza. it's for the good of society. without pizza, we are barbarians and heathens. Pizza is civilisation.

edit: I also want to say, I can't trust the stores these days. due to dietary issues, I cannot eat as they put seed oils in it and it makes me suffer. Therefore i make my pizza in the privacy of my own kitchen, where I am responsible for every single ingredient and process. I don't have to worry about whether or not the companies are doing things properly and not hurting me or the people around me. I only have myself to answer for this way. I use good quality flour, water, salt, olive oil and yeast, and make a dough to be left overnight. Then i make my own tomato sauce, and use fresh ingredients. it's divine.

Any thoughts on other frozen pizza brands? Honestly I like jack's a lot. But red Baron is also very solid. Tombstone is okay but it's not what it used to be.

When my digestive system was better, I used to buy one called Ristorante. British brand, no idea if they are in other territories. They are made by Dr oetker a German company. They are thin and crispy and the ingredients are generally good quality. I never found any brand that was as good.

I'm still a Stouffer's french bread pizza guy - those things, I believe as the Flash said, rip d**k. Hahaha....but seriously what a terrible line,
