Main Project Intentions & Info:
My goal was to create alternate versions of the first two Terminator films that don't explain the plot & character motivations upfront, but instead let the story unfold naturally as the films progress. This adds mystery & creates surprises for an un-spoiled first-time viewer... If there even is such a thing.
I know we all know the basic story, but when watching these edits, I hope you can try to see the films as if you're watching for the first time.
Opening credits & titles are removed & a new "A James Cameron Film" credit has been added to the beginning of each film.
New title cards replace the original title & opening credits. Both films end with a short post-credits scene/shot.
I've made extensive alterations to each film, manufacturing & programing my ideal versions.

No dates mentioned- This keeps the future war a possible threat here in our present time.
No Terminator POV- It's spoilery for my project intentions & the tech looks too primitive anyways.
No visions of the future- As much as I LOVE those effects shots, It's also spoilery for my project intentions.

I've used the best available mix/master of each track & adjusted the gain to make this sound like a cohesive album.

Peroration:
I love the original cuts of these films & I'm not really trying to fix any perceived flaws, but this is my preferred way of experiencing this story.
These are actually remakes of my first edits, back in 2010. Those were just to show friends & I lost the files a long time back...
It feels good to finally finish this project in HD & see it released for all to see.
These films are a perfect double feature. I hope you enjoy this alternate take on the Terminator Duology!

Peroration:
I love the original cuts of these films & I'm not really trying to fix any perceived flaws, but this is my preferred way of experiencing this story.
These are actually remakes of my first edits, back in 2010. Those were just to show friends & I lost the files a long time back...
It feels good to finally finish this project in HD & see it released for all to see.
These films are a perfect double feature. I hope you enjoy this alternate take on the Terminator Duology!
