What has happened with Doc is so sad. I can't believe he did it... and his family.. and the victim... breaks my heart through and through

My son is asking for the newest Star Wars game, Outlaws, for his birthday in two weeks. He has Xbox Game Pass but it doesn’t seem that it is available there hence his birthday request. Looking up the game, however, I’m perplexed as to the options. There’s so many different price levels. Is this a subscription game? Or is just buying the disk enough? I just want to be sure I get the right thing and don’t overpay for things he doesn’t care about like limited edition covers or whatever.

I would buy either the standard edition (with only the game itself) or the gold edition with the season pass included (therefore the future additional story DLCs that will come out). The ultimate edition is not worth it in my opinion.

So if I get the standard game it will have all he needs to play now? In other words, there isn’t some online subscription or something on top of the game itself needed?

I believe that the monthly subscription from Ubisoft allows to access every game from Ubisoft with every features available. If he only wants to play to Outlaws the standard edition is all you need.
